  So what do your Jehovah's Witness friends and loved ones think of the generation teaching?

  after the little skit at the last assembly where one brother was asking another for understanding about the generation teaching i thought, "wow, these people will believe anything the watchtower tells them.

  " the 'more mature brother' practically said verbatim everything the watchtower said as his explanation.

  evidently, this is one of the sources of the increased 'murmuring' that the talked warned against.. so, has anyone brought this up to their witness friends and/or family?

  Yeah, I get responses similar to that too. Something like, "You're the only one making a big deal out of it."

  I would certainly say it's a big deal. It's a big difference from going to sell books on Saturday's or going to the beach, hiking or enjoying life instead of dedicating a life to a religion that's a big FRAUD!

  My First Easter in 35 years...

  My matrix awakening was while at a meeting just after the devastating Haiti earthquake. Many of the brothers were inquiring about a special collection for the victims and an announcement was made that "there will be no special collection for the victims of the Haiti earthquake. Anyone who wants to make a donation for this cause, please make a deposit in the World Fund box and the Society will put the money were the need is greater". I was shocked in disbelief. The coldness and uncaring way this was presented placed me wide awake. The same Holy Spirit who has not been able to give this Org a correct date for Armagedon is correctly going to separate money donated for Haitian victims and direct the monies to that cause. I was disconnected immediately and forever.

  what happens to wts writers who write mistakes in printed pubs

  given that the printed word is forever and cannot be erased do the writers get into trouble for the embarassment they cause ?

  every mistake results in someone today or tommorrow or nnext year and so on losing faith which is a disasyer for the org.

  how do they hope to control these errors and prevent them from happening in the future.?

  An Elder's honest opinion...saw this on another site...thoughts?

  before i express my opinion to the readers and contributors to this website (www.ex-jw.com), i would like to explain who i am and to present my bona fides as someone qualified to comment on this website and jehovah's witnesses in general.. first of all, i am an active jehovah's witness living just outside of new york city.

  being a large metropolis, new york has many kingdom halls located within the city and several more in surrounding boroughs, counties, and suburbs.

  I don't know what to make of you Shadow Elder. You say that you are "Qualified" to comment on this website as in many others. So is everyone else who is registered here. But you make it appear like you are superior in "Qualifications". So, let me ask you kind sir. Who "Qualified" you and what are your "Credentials"? That is so JW of you to speak like that since for over 100 they have been preaching that they are the "Chosen" religion and that they "Speak" for God. Where are their "Credentials" or certificates if any? You describe yourself as the average citizen which is a nice thing. I agree with everything that you have posted about the WTBS, I have no problem with that. But, I find you to be somewhat untrustworthy of being a true friend. You speak against your organization and yet you stay and try to hide your identity. That's fine, I stayed for a long time even though I had numerous doubts. What I can't respect you for sir is your condecending attitude towards that fine people that try to convey their thoughts and opinions on this site by attacking their lack of knowledge of spelling, grammar and how to develope a thought. Well, most people aren't as eloquent or literate as you are, but anyone who takes the time to express their thoughts, are ok by me no matter what their educational level is. It takes great courage to do so. You sir, speak out against your own religious organization, you are disrespectful against the people who express themselves here or anywhere for not "Knowing" as much as you and frankly, I think you have no business posting on this website. Your points against the WT are just a repetion of what's been said before.
