  Well, tomarrow is the big day..........

  the ghost hunters are coming to set up their cams, and voice recorders and such.

  they pretty much rule out as much as they can before even considering it paranormal........which is good.

  they already commented on two of my videos......ruling them out lol.

  I was watching Maury Povich the other day and he had paranormal videos and evp? Something like that...but there was some strannnnnnge shit on there. A voice was saying "Do you have a cigarette?" and "Take my picture."

  Im sorry...that stuff just weirds me out. I take thousands of pictures with my digital camera and sometimes I get boatloads of orbs and then in the same evening I wont get any in the pictures in the same room. So if its dust or moisture...why does it come and go? And why are the orbs always around the same people?

  Weird Watchtower article, Russell's grave worship in the background

  so just about everybody here knows that russell had some sort of obsession with the pyramids, and his gravestone serves as that embarassing reminder to his false prophecy, shaped like a pyramid itself.

  and this is why i found this image on a awake!

  magazine of 2005 quite disturbing.

  Most JWs dont have any clue about the occult view of pyramids and since they may be familiar with how the heights of the pyramids of Geza were used to figure out "significant dates" in Watchtower history, and no mention of the negative connotation of pyramids was mentioned in the article which is in the AWAKE for the commoners...probably it went unnoticed. Also most JWs dont know about Russells choice of grave monuments.

  Hopefully this little girls interest in studying the history of her religion will extend into her teens and 20s and she will learn what the "troof" really is.

  took a long long time to rehabilitate and among one of the things i had to do was learn to make friends.

  The WTS and its vicious slandering of the early church

  one of the most disagreeable actions of the wts is the vicious way in which it relegates the christian martyrs of the early church not only in seeking to minimise their number but also their authenticity.

  they claim that after the first century the church went apostate and there were basically very few genuine christians so most martyrs were worthless.

  yet when we examine the early church doctrines closely we see that they were pretty much based on the bible and perhaps also on books that were then circulating among the churches and considered, perhaps wrongly, to be genuine at the time.

  I think we all asked ourselves that question...how could it be 2000 years after the life of Christ that there havent been 144,000 elect in that time period? And what of the thousands killed by the lions in the arena? I recall reading that because "there were no records that those people were BAPTIZED CHRISTIANS that their professing it and dying for it basically meant nothing because it lacked PROOF!!! I was stunned...sickened by that.

  I never believed that the ENTIRE book of Revelation which was dreams, visions and portents could have ANYTHING literal in it when the entire REST of it was PORTRAYALS and ILLUSTRATIONS of what goes on in heaven and what was to happy on the earth in the future. AGain they take that condom and stretch it over the bowling ball to make the bible fit the theory.

  Husband made them run away

  my husband, never a jw, is at home because he has a broken arm and off work.

  a couple of days ago the door knocks and two jws are at the door, a man and a woman.

  the man starts to make conversation and hubby says that he is not interested in organised religion.

  Would you die for what you believe?

  richard parker, a member of the jehovah`s witnesses, says that the refusal of transfusions is one of their fundamental beliefs.

  based on what is written in the bible.it is not forbidden by their faith but is a matter of choice for the individual, he said.. who is richard parker - branch committee?

  You do understand what "matter of choice" means with regard to JW jargon? It means "you can go ahead and do it if you want to...but then you are CHOOSING TO BE DISASSOCIATED when you do." It's a double edged sword. They say go ahead....we wont do annnnnnnything to you. You, however WILL BE doing it to YOURSELF. You choose the action, you chose the consequences and the Society and their legal department come off smelling like a rose.

  ive been designing my oldests graduation invitation for the last couple of days.

  noticing not for the first time, how handsome he has become.

  Thank you all so much for your encouragement. I decided to sit down with him yesterday and have a little talk. I told him why I was crying and hoped that I hadnt let him down and how I was going to miss him so much when he was gone. He was very wonderful about my meltdown. "You are such a MOM." he said. He told me he had a great childhood and because he hadnt had to get a job because of constant sports involvement and training, he said his "childhood continues even now". He doesnt feel the need to go as far as he can from the house for college like he used to as the time to go looms. He gave me a hug, told me he regrets nothing and misses nothing and lacks for nothing and considers himself spoiled. It left me feeling a whole lot better.

  And yes...he will be back. How much will I miss the base speakers in his car shaking the whole house when he comes home? Probably alot. :)

  You guys are amazing... I mean truly amazing. I'm calmer now. I needed the e-hugs :) Your wisdom is just what I needed to hear. I needed this reassurance. My kids already think I overreact to everything and take things too personally. My oldest said it has seemed like time stood still while he waited for his graduation day and I replied that the same time period to me was a blur that I desperately wanted to slow down.

  Id love to hear more of your expressions. I might just print this out and show him some day. :)
