  i just didnt have the stomach for their drivel....never saw these two sisters before either.

  she opened with "we are just going door to door talking to people about how we are using up the earths resources...." ha!!

  so now the bs and the gas issue are gonna be their pick up line???

  Sass...yep...it blewe up my family too as effectively as a quarter stick in a frog. Not only are half of my inlaws JWs but my mother in law was too...so my MIL and I are DAd, her two JW children shun her, one of which is my husband. She is not allowed to see the 5 grand children of her JW daughter. Her second husband is a JW elder and HE is constantly badmouthing his wife their MOTHER to the two adult JW children to endear HIMSELF to them and to make them shun her more if thats possible. Her 35 year old Downs Syndrome daughter who lives with her and the Elder, got baptized and now is being brainwashed into following whatever Elder step dad says to her about what her evil EXJW mother is doing or saying...and the NON JW siblings have decided to SHUN THE SHUNNERS to teach them a lesson about what it feels like to be SHUNNED!

  God...its insane and heart breaking! We are all as divided as parallel lines to each other

  Can a Woman be DFd for wearing a pantsuit to meetings?

  im wondering if they are still so tight assed in the organization as to make issue with such matters that they would df a woman who preferred to wear pants to dresses but still came to the hall.

  do you think they wouldnt allow her to enter after awhile?

  i wore a skort once and gave a talk back in like, 1986 and was soundly reprimanded for wearing apparel that was "masculine and improper for sisters to be wearing".

  Gosh if wearing pants got my privileges removed, and I wasnt allowed out in service or to comment or get assigned any parts...but wouldnt get me DFd, I think I would have done it earlier!! :)

  But I stopped her in her tracks...I said "I wont waste your time..my husband is a JW and Im an EX JW."

  "Oh does he go to the hall here?" (right behind my house)

  "No...he doesnt go to meetings very often."

  ""Well thank you for the information." She said as she was turning her back on me to make a hasty retreat.

  Im so tempted when they come to the door, and I get them alot since Im next to the hall, to let em have it...but these people are not at fault. And I have compassion for their situation. They arent the Borg they are only the drones for the Borg as we all were.

  i give less and less a shit about what the jw's want or say or do.

  i love my family and since my wife is still in although also inactive her rabid family is making the fade tough since i love and respect her dad.

  Gosh all you have to do is FART in the wrong direction in this organization and someone takes ISSUE with it! Running ahead??? Your are supposed to be in trouble because someone INSIDE the organization couldnt keep his mouth shut? How is that YOUR fault?

  How many frickin times did the Society say the END OF THE EARTH was coming on an EXACT DATE?? Did they all get disfellowshipped for RUNNING AHEAD OF GOD HIMSELF? And the SON who doesnt even know the day or the hour?

  Reporting preaching time is another obvious 'burden' that could be removed

  the basic scriptural argument by the wts is that since the apostles 'reported' their experiences, it is correct to expect jw's to 'report' their preaching activity on a monthly form.

  (there are other reasons given for reporting time ,eg, the claim that reporting time helps the elders gauge someones spiritual 'strength', etc.

  since the scriptural record is that only experiences were reported back by the early christians, the society therefore only has justification for jw's to report their 'experiences' to each other, not to formerly report their actual time preaching.

  Im sure glad I dont have to rely on the "FIELD SERVICE SPEED" of Jehovahs Witnesses to save my LIFE! They walk slower than the snails in my garden do, swinging their briefcases, talking to each other, killing as much time out there as they can with the least amount of effort for the time. If theirs is a life saving message, they apparently dont give a shyte who dies because they didnt get there in time, THAT much is clear. And the effectivenss of the message is ZILCH and the number of people who actually come into the organization these days because of the delivery of that message is damn NEAR ZILCH. The only people getting baptized these days are the unfortunate OFFSPRING of the JWs already trapped in there.

  I remember it being asked one day in a meeting or a convention "How many of you came into Jehovahs Organization as a result of someone bringing the good news to your door?" And I think he fully expected by the smile on his face to see many many hands...there were like 2????

  IT DOESNT WORK! Billions of hours reported because nobody wants to be dropped from the rolls as being INACTIVE because they ARENT lying on their time sheets to avoid that CALL every month from the Service Overseer! So they put ANYTHING on that paper and drop it in the slot!

  At least the Mormons only have to do it FOR TWO YEARS and then theyre off the HOOK!

  I know I LIED about my time towards the end to keep the heat off, and eventually just said what the hell...I DONT CARE what they think!

  This guy needs to LAWYER UP like NOW before too much time goes by or he will NOT get to see his child! Also he needs to establish IN WRITING that she cannot move from the state and take the child or she can and will do that to keep her away from him. This is all assuming he gives a shit of course. As for him being unfit because he isnt a JW has anybody at the hall noticed this unmarried JW girl has been screwing a worldly guy and had a BABY?? Why wasnt she DFd??

  As for immunizations, these days the papers have been saying that immunizations can be a cause of autism and many parents are balking at getting them. My nephews ex girlfriend didnt want to give their daughter shots because she is a flower child and thinks immunizations put impure things into the body and refuses to do it. The JWs used to believe that there was blood in the immunizations and wouldnt get them because of THAT but that was blown out of the water a long time ago. They actually used to FAKE the polio vaccine scar and say they GOT the shot! Unless this kid is home schooled she will be required to have immunizations to attend school.

  He needs to step up and be a daddy...anybody can have sex and become a father....it takes a REAL man to become a Daddy. Trust me...that child will NEED him in her life if she isnt to become a JW drone!

I think they drew straws to see who was going to be the lucky guy to give me THAT bit of council. They picked an elder who was a foot shorter than I am probably hoping I wouldnt be inclined to HIT him.

  Comon Dubs...its the frickin 21st CENTURY already.

  They get around that "change" thing by calling it CURRENT UNDERSTANDING or NEW LIGHT or or or....which means they didnt have it WRONG necessarily before but that God didnt reveal it in its entirety to them yet and so they had TRUTH but that that truth just gets....welll....truthier over time :)

  You ever attended a JW funeral? Honey....its a solid half hour of JW INFOMERCIAL!! Yeah they use it as an excuse even at a FUNERAL to preach AT the nonJWs in the place. All they do is use the FUNERAL TALK and stick the name of the deceased in there in the blanks.

  1) kids are conveniently across the street wtih grandma for the night - no witnesses to the killing

  2) husband conveniently needs to go to the store for formula and...who knew exactly that he was leaving for that spontaneous item and would be gone EXACTLY long enough to break in, kill the woman and get back out unseen?

  3) nobody would suspect such religious people of committing such a heinous crime? ha!
