Issue Facing Apostates

most of the stuff posted here is negative, hateful, and blasphemous against god.

even if many of you are right in saying that the jws are wrong on many and important issues, that does not make you right.

so unless you are convinced that there is no biblical god you are facing serious trouble when you die or if the lord comes during your lifetime.

Whom does this dear poster think we are "apostates" from? Are we apostates from our former religions before we became JWs? Are we now apostates because we saw the LIE and are no longer JWs? Are we apostates to ALL religions because they ALL pretty much have holes you could drive a Mack truck through? Who are YOU APOSTATES??

The only people I know who LABEL with such gusto ARE JWS who are...the biggest apostates on the planet. What a coinkydink.

Every time a JW points that sticky smelly little finger at somebody else, four point right back at their sorry kissers.

Demonic sex

i'm not being a pervert, really.

i was just wondering whether there was a psychological explanation for why people (women, i think) experience sex, when there's nobody physically there.. there's a lot made of this in dubdom, so i'm thnking there couldbe a connection with the dub 'culture'.. just curious.. philo (honestly, but still a male)

Yep...love that spontaneous combustion :) There are also some pieces of exercise equipment that cause this. Makes ya WANT to go work out I tell ya LOL! SL - this type of writing is the Society's Red Herring. They figure if they stand on that street corner with their dark glasses and smarmy overcoat FLASHING the public whilst MOONING their own people, and calling out "Look over there!! LOOOK what those nasty catholics are doing!"...then perhaps nobody will notice their own digusting amoral behavior.

ok, so i got my idea from bugeye's wife's thread.

if the wtbts decided to change its doctrine so that the age for baptism was 30 years, the same age as john and jesus, would everyone who was baptised under that age have their baptism invalidated?

if so, what would happen to any disfellowshipped ones whose baptism was invalid?

It seems to me that the Society came up with the rule about not eating with a disfellowshipped person AFTER Ray Franz ate with Gregerson...and they DFd him anyway did they not? How can this retroactive stuff be applicable only in some cases and not others? I dont think they went back to the sisters who were DFd for not screaming when they were raped and reinstated them every freakin time they changed THAT heinous rule either. Nor will they if it means having to admit they MADE A HUGE FREAKING MISTAKE.

They always claim they ADMIT WHEN THEY WERE WRONG. What they do is what animals do...they start burying their shit to hide the evidence.

when i was new in the truth , only baptized 4 months, i became good friends with this one sister.

Ok thats it...the NEW LIGHT on the above subjects is that a SISTER will be stationed at the DOOR for every meeting and her job will be to check for VASECTOMIES. The BROTHER on the other side of the door will be checking for BOOB IMPLANTS. Friends caught with the above bodily IRREGULARITIES will have their privileges removed along with their clothes. Frowny faces will be put next to their names on the Book of Life. Brothers and Sisters with 10 or more average monthly hours can apply for these positions.

well i know this isn't like my usual posts but bear with me.

i know there are blowups on this board, and i guess not everyone gets a long 100%, 100% of the time, but we all have a bond that keeps bringing us back--pain.

we here have all suffered at the hands a merciless cult, and i know many have sufferd more then the rest of us can ever comprehend.. i miss my family and friends, somedays it's almost more then i can bear, but get by.

Hi Vennie....you poor kid. I know I know I know...how DARE they go about their lives and FORGET about us??? That so pisses me off. Didnt I mean ANYTHING to these people? How can they just move on? Dont they miss me at all? And then I remember they CANT acknowledge me....they cant. They arent happy about it. All that pretense of being holier than I am...when we both know they arent. It hurts them...hurts us...and theres not a damn thing we can do about it.

We all love you and your family. We cant replace the ones we have lost. Damn the Watch Tower Society...damn them all.

I have no compassion and NO forgiveness for them for what they have done and continue to do to their people. And KNOWINGLY do.

the account of adam and eve as a literal event is so full of logical contradictions that it is mind-boggling.

it only takes a minimum of scrutiny to discover that fact, too.. there is something god did not want adam and eve to know.

he didnt want them to know the difference between good and evil.

If God didnt explain what BAD was to his kids...then he set them up for a fall. If you say to a kid, "Dont touch that ITS HOT." But you dont explain what hot IS and what hot DOES to you...you havent created in them anything that would prevent them from touching it except that you SAID so. If you take your kids, and Adam and Eve WERE kids, naive, not having both sides of things to make determinations with, and you put something shiny and pretty right in FRONT of them and tell them dont touch it its HOT...and they touch it ANYWAY...you CANT PUNISH THEM FOR IT. And you better go take some parenting skill classes because you really suck at it.

Nah..I managed to steer clear of bulding that place, tho my husband who is a contractor, got dragged down there. We lived in Schaumburg. We did go to conventions there tho. My step father in law designed the sound system there and my sister in law apparently helped make those huge gray/maroon (I think) curtains that were all up along over the stage, I think to cover the speakers there. It was a pretty nice dig. I believe they told us that it was self contained, that when the tribulation came we would be able to live there with our own bomb shelter and generators and some such nonsense. That cute little bridge over "paradise" out back was a nice touch :) I got baptized in Janesville WI.

Sounds like the Society is waiting for somebody to give them facilities for FREE. Like as if bringing all those Dubs into the city for two days does anything REALLY for the economy of the area. They are absolutely the cheapest people on the planet. They dont TIP and they destroy hotel rooms and have bratty kids like anyone else. They dont go touring during the day, they are in the meeting hall all the time except for the few who escape to eat outside the confines, and then go back to the hotel and back home afterwards. The locals businesses might as well have fire ants invade.

We used to have our conventions at Sportsmans Park, a horse racing track in Chicago. We came in and cleaned that place from top to bottom and were told to bring our own cleaning materials and brooms. The brothers took care of the grounds the whole time including doing repairs and maintenance and painting if need be, and we scrubbed the slimey men's rooms and filthy scummy floors and sat there with the smell of horse manure wafting in on the July winds...our eyes following all the planes taking off from Midway Airport...wishing to hell we were on one. The Society's slave labor took really good care of those facilities and Im sure was getting them for next to nothing. Convention EXPENSES? For what?? Brothers did the shipping, brothers did the purchasing, brothers did the delivering, brothers did the cleaning, brothers did the wiring of the sound systems and built the stages and brothers brought the flowers and brothers distributed the magazines and hauled the garbage out...what FREAKIN expenses are we talkin here? Electricity for the A/C and the sound? And STILL they whined and whined everyday about giving more more more!! And it turns out most of that was sent to the Society...not used for expenses incurred for the site.

AND....they charged for parking by the axel. Gawd I hated hated hated going to District Assemblies. It was shear torture.

Now Im in West Palm Beach Florida...and grateful to have NO WHERE TO HAVE TO GO and sit on my ars for three ankle swelling days.

I attended the meeting tonight.....

i went to the meeting tonight to check out things in the local congregation.

this spiritual paradise is showing a few cracks.

when i arrived about ten minutes before the meeting started, i felt like a ghost.

Hey SL! You are being MARKED my friend. Consider it a blessing you dont need those jerks anyway. They get off on walking around whispering about you and watching you and following you and making a huge freakin deal about you being there LOL! Life is SOOOOO endlessly boring in those halls that you are actually creating a distraction they enjoy! We used to love all the delicious DISH about this one or that one or "look who just came IN" or "did you see that??? brother narc raised his hand and NOBODY CALLED ON HIM! snicker snicker chuckle." Meanwhile they arent getting squat out of the meeting :) They know they cant disfellowship you or the press would have a field day with it. So they are doing the next best thing...ignoring you! Isnt this fun? Just like 5th grade.

I say run with it Si! Continue to go to the meetings...chances are there are people there who will be APPAULED at the behavior of the Brethren and will follow you right out the door. They only shoot themselves in their own holier than thou toes when they pull this childish behavior.
