Ridiculous trips to the 'back room'

the posts in the elders meeting thread got me thinking about this, so i've spun it off for into another thread.. were you ever 'counseled' because "some" in the congregation were disturbed by things you said/did/listened to/watched?.

here is just some of the stupid stuff that the elders brought me in on.

though they were usually handled through shepherding calls, not in the back room at the kh.. 1: because i decided to change my first and middle names.

Early on, I think maybe even before I was baptized, I was already in the Ministry School. Yeah I was ZEALOUS and damn dangerous. I was at that time very slim, tall, big blonde Farrah Faucet hair, middle 80s look, and pretty noticeable. I came directly from work one day to the hall and had to give a talk. I was wearing coulottes. (Basically a split skirt) After the meeting, an elder came up to me almost as I was about to leave the hall. I never saw such fear in a person's eyes before in my life. LOL! He came up to about my chest.

"Sister, um, I must remind you that only proper dress is allowed on the platform and your attire resembles pants too much. It is also too form fitting for Jehovahs house and distracts from the subject of your talk."

I humbled myself and apologized to him and said it would NEVER happen again, but I got GREAT satisfaction knowing that that poor Barney Fife of an Elder drew the short straw that night and had to be the one to go tell the Valkyre her pants were too tight on her ass and she was a distraction LOL!! And why pray tell, brother, why were you LOOKING at my ass as I ascended the stage? LOL!!

gawd...what I wouldnt do to have that bod now hehehehe

just received word from my parents who were visiting with a bethelite [8>] couple over the week end (circuit assembly).. my dad's on the defensive because i have begun to tell him exactly what i think og the wbts.. anyhow he wanted to let me know, per this couple, the jw are housing firefighters and even feeding them!

They are most likely keeping the contributions to repay themselves for the bologna and wonderbread they used on the firefighters.

The rest will go for new suits for the Bethelites for the upcoming October special meetings.

Isnt 1991 the year that they also lost their suit as Friend of the Court in the Jimmy Swaggart case involving taxation on literature sold? And they promptly started the NO CHARGE policy on literature but didnt tell the sheep about the lawsuit whatsoever? Perhaps this was just another one of their REQUIRED moves to "cheat" the sheep..you know Spiritual Warfare...its ok to lie and cheat and steal as long as its a nonJW you are lying to, cheating on and stealing from?

I know I was preggers so it was 1991 or 1995 that they did this.

yes, i believe people are running wildly back to the kingdom halls because of the tragic events of september 11. i believe as victor stated, that their ingrained fear makes their feet automatically head in that direction because it gives them the false sense of security they need at this time.

but...running back to the watchtower is like running under that mighty oak in the lightning storm, thinking its broad branches will protect you from harm, when in reality it is the very thing the lightening seeks to hit...and will take whomever is under it with it when struck.

there will be a great influx for a while, and unfortunately for the society they cut off their year september 1 and so this great influx wont be noticed until january 2003s numbers come in.

Why not hand out BIBLES? FREE Bibles with NO strings attached and NO return visits and NO pressure to STUDY or DIE!! There is a tire company here locally that advertises with background music playing of the Battle Hymn of the Republic that they will give ONE DOLLAR to the Red Cross for every TIRE THEY SELL in September so come on in and SUPPORT THE RED CROSS! They say. Im SICKENED by it! If they are so damn concerned about those people in New York why arent they giving ALL of their proceeds? Why arent they giving whether they sell anything or NOT? How DARE they advertise this false nobility??

The Watchtower Society should COWER IN SHAME at their blatant disgusting pimping...they are no better than whores selling their wares. Special FS meeting indeed!! How best can we SCREW THE HORROR STRUCK PEOPLE??

I NEED ADVICE DESPERATELY!!!

here is my situation: my fiance is now 27 years old.

he was raised as a jw from the age of 2 through 18. at that time, his whole family left the "truth" except for his older brother who had already married another woman from the faith.

for the past 9 years, he has been living his life to the fullest, but still loving god, praying often and he is a truly honest and moral person.
