Hy that was great LOL! Would have loved to have seen their faces. So what else can they do but disfellowship you? Remember Indiana Jones when the guy with the sabers came at Indy and he was going through all these involved moves with those sabers swooshing them around and yelling and jumping around...Indy just looked at the guy...then he took out his gun and shot him LOL! They were up against something they couldnt beat...so they shot you.

When you love somebody, like you do your family, and they reject you this way, you never really get over it. You just learn to live with it because you know you cant change them. Most of them hurt too and mourn having to shun you. They put on all these airs about leaving Jehovah but many times they are resentful because you got out and they cant...yet. My mother in law gave me a really hard time when I disassociated, her being in for 23 years and raising four of her kids in the troof...my husband included. But after three years of making me "pay" ....she left too, so there is always hope. And when I left I lost all my other JW relatives and all the friends I had in the world behind. You dont have to "get over it" honey...but you cant fix it either so dont let the bastards steal your joy. Its how they play the game. If you suffer out loud then the JWs see that they "are right" and that there is no "happiness if you leave Jehovah" and they will dig in harder. see? I hope your move goes alright anyway...a new place a new start. We love you here.

It also COSTS money. To use those media when they so STIFFLY condemn the preachers who DO use them as money making opportunists...would render them just a LEEETLE bit hypocritical. It got to the point back in the days when they DID use radio that the Christian stations banned giving them any time at all. Which they promptly turned around and used as propaganda that they were of course the TRUTH because Christendom was persecuting them LOL! Rutherford was nothing more than the Colonel Parker of his day..the Barnum and Bailey of Religiosity. They know that going door to door DOESNT WORK EITHER but damned if it didnt get the books and magazines sold. Now that they cant charge for the literature any more, and the funds are drying up and they finally have resorted to paperbacks and ceasing the mailing of the literature...wherever will they turn to do spread their vile message now? They already condemned the internet but continue to use it themselves. They target the handicapped, the obituaries, the weak, the lonely, the senile, the poor...obviously that great army cannot support them financially, so they talk dying ones into giving their estates over to the society.
They make me puke!

I waited 13 years for this day,Silentlambs march
by nowaytess intommorow i will be marching in nyc.. i took a personal day off fromwork and am flying up to nyc overnight.. for me, i was compelled to make the journey.
the march is going to open up a lot of old wound which only have just scarred over the years to mentally survive.
it will be part of my healing.. i can't sleep for the tears just flow even after all these years,.

Will my JW wife and son get into trouble for this?

benjamin was brought up as a jw and was heavily involved, used extensively on the platform as a good jw role model.
however, about a year ago (when he was 13) he started to have doubts and went through a cycle of depression, even contemplating suicide.

Did these same idiot elders then call the Williams sisters and tell them they could no longer PLAY TENNIS??? What the hell?? When I first came in to the troof, the first thing I ended up being in was a judicial committee for the sins of a BAPTIZED brother...and they privately reproved me because I was "already an approved associate" I believe the term was then... I think they changed that to unbaptized publisher after that which was 1984. I was like you have to WHAT?? Im not even a MEMBER of this cockameemie organization yet and you think you can punish me?? Hes like well...we cant let this go without doing SOMETHING to you as you knew better. Um no...HE knew better, I didnt. I also had a friend who was a JW and her son was an unbaptized publisher for many years and started doing drinking or drugs or something and they announced him as DISASSOCIATED and he was never dunked!
