  Prostituting herself for the "truth"

  my mother in law went back into the maw after disassociating herself in 99. her elder husband had left her, and her kids and her grandkids wouldnt speak to her and it got to be too much.

  i heard yesterday that she went back and he is moving back in.

  and this just after she was here in june saying how she didnt believe in any of it, but tried to "force herself" and "convince herself" it was the "trooth" last spring so that her husband would come back, then came to her senses.

  thanks for the cyberhugs guys...I sure do need them. I dont know if I care if she goes back in and then comes back out AGAIN...she is totally destroying me, and this emotional up and down is way too painful for me. I wont just be out here waiting to take her back in when they all reject her again. Especially since she has so easily just disposed of me...once again. I dont know....I dont know what to think any more. :(

  just to see...i did a search on "disassocation letters" and got over 3000 hits...and that was just on the aol search engine.

  i think i will go and read some of these.

  anyone who is wanting to join the jws owes it to themselves to see why people have left on their own accord.

Anyone who is wanting to join the JWs owes it to themselves to see why people have LEFT on their own accord. What would drive anybody from this organization if its the "truth" as they claim?   scandels and dissention were prevelant in the early christian congregations.

  it was fortold that wickedness would penatrate the brotherhood as the end approached.

  (so therefore they have pediphiles) given 9-11 and the threats of war and on and on and on (not to mention the hurricanes) all this only means the end is fastly approaching.

  I believe you are right about this. I heard the other day...several times in fact, that the government is looking to establish "peace and security" in the middle east, and you KNOW every time they say that that it has a pavlovs dog reaction in JWs. They said that I believe like in 85 or 86 and we about all went nuts thinking ah HAH! they SAID it! So...here it comes the big boom! I believe they actually WANT Bush to go over there and start something. Anything to bring something resembling Armageddon will do. They just do realize that they will be that baby they are throwing out with the bathwater.

  Well...she did it. My mother in law went back into the maw after disassociating herself in 99. Her elder husband had left her, and her kids and her grandkids wouldnt speak to her and it got to be too much. I heard yesterday that she went back and he is moving back in. And this just after she was here in June saying how she didnt believe in any of it, but tried to "force herself" and "convince herself" it was the "trooth" last spring so that her husband would come back, then came to her senses. She sat on my bed looking at pictures of my JW wedding, my JW shower, my JW picnics..and just balled at all the friends she has lost. It was too much for her.

  She has sold out. Im the only one she will now shun. They will make her suffer for a year, sitting in the back, attending those meetings, being treated like shit. And she is willing to go through that humiliation to get her family back. Fuck them for doing this to her. Ironically, Im the only one who was always there for her when they all cast her out and now Im the sacrifice once again. And she didnt even have the balls to tell me herself she was doing this. I had to find out after everybody else did. I knew it tho...she wasnt returning my calls, my emails, my IMs...just silence for the last four months. I knew, I felt it. And now...I know. I pity her. Her conscience will be forever torn. But my children have once again lost their grandmother. We cant go to her home now, she cant come here. The children cant see their Aunt, Uncle and four cousins who are JWs because of me being shunned, and now the family is divided further. We were going to go to see grandma next summer, but now Im not welcome there, and I will be damned if I will split up the family because they have no tolerance or love for anyone but themselves. Fuck em all.

  With the JWs in your life...there is no "moving on" ...not ever.

  the cunning ability that the wts has in burying its past from its adherents is quite remarkable.

  i would confidently state that by far the majority of jws do not know the true history of their own religion, nor even the revisionist version that the wts pumps out every so often.

  i can only imagine the internal turmoil that barbara anderson and others had to contend with as she unearthed information about the wts that was then prepared for public consumption by manipulating the facts beyond reality - a little like trying to pass off mae west as the girl next door.

  " read this quotation to a very active and intelligent JW a while ago. Rather surprisingly they did not try the 'light gets brighter' pacifier in dealing with these complete reversals in dogma. What they did say was even more stunning, "Oh well, all is well that ends well".

  Dang...thats right up there with "hey...if nobody reports a molestation, then I guess it never happened."

  The Next Big JW Issue?

  what do you think will be the next big jw issue that should be brought out into the open?.

  i think it could be the extreme physical abuse of women and children.

  with all that bill bowen is doing, i don't think that he should be the one to take this on.

  Shunning...and the incredible damage it does to individuals, families....the devastation it brings. I think a huge lawsuit over it is needed. The suicides, the divorces, the depression, the anhialation of the family unit it produces, the total alienation of affection...I think this produces more death than even the blood issue does. Death without a body to bury.

  Seems to me that only a pedophile would want people to "forget about it"...thats why the WTS is pedophilia paradise...the Society "forgets about it" and disfellowships your ass if you pursue it. Only a perv would appreciate that set up.

  Increase in Publishers for Canada

  just heard today from my parents that a member of the canadian bethel said that there is a 1% increase in publishers from last year.

  they made such a big deal of it but when you consider that this increase is mostly from jdub's that have been raised in it and are now starting to publish it is not such a big deal.

  i was also told that they mentioned about the dangers of the internet and also about all the lawsuites that the "apostates" are bringing against the organization.

  According to this site...which I adore...for visualizing changes in the BORG.... Canada is practically flatlining growth wise like the United states. Very few coming in..very little increase. People KNOW better than to believe anything they are told any more. They have no enthusiasm for the meetings, the assemblies the magazines...its all blah blah blah. They cant leave tho...the numbers illustrate how trapped they are, putting in absolutely the minimum effort just to keep the heat off.

  Sisters going after minor brothers

  i know when it comes to pedophiles we are young girls or teenage girls who have been molested by men.. i know of 2 cases where a teenage boy is being seduced by an older woman in the congregation.. .

  i know of one when i was a jw in my congregation.

  she was 24 and he was 15 1/2 - 16 when they meet.

  Im thinking that a lot of these women might have husbands who are so engrossed in WT COMPANY stuff that they are no company to their wives, left home alone a lot. And there is a huge shortage of men in the Borg anyway. I had a friend who was grooming to be a pioneer, her husband an elder...I have said this story before...and she had a teenaged son. She decided to have a midlife crisis or something and started to have a relationship with an 18 year old who was staying at their home. All of us who pioneered that summer knew what was happening tho she denied it violently and vehemently. As did he. After they both went to pioneer school in August, they got their walking papers as pioneers, walked to the nearest motel and got BUSTED. Both were DFd. She eventually deserted her husband and son, divorced, and ran off with this kid who was only a couple years older than her own. They were reinstated...I never forgave them for it all, because they manipulated the system to get what they wanted and all it cost them was a year of eating humble pie. Her son went bonkers...got DFd and now SHE shuns HIM. Makes me puke.

  I for my part tho, married a guy 10 years my junior...and have been married 15 years now. He was, however 23 when I met him :) The irony of that was that my nonJW family was horrified by this and kept accusing me of marrying him "only for the sex"...which is the one thing we DIDNT have before marriage that my other two failed marriages DID. My father, who was the most vociferous about this union, was married to a woman 9 1/2 years HIS junior which somehow is OK. Well shit dad...I KNOW you married HER for the sex LOL! How quickly they forget <eg>
