Oh...about the ANNOINTED thing ... When I first came in I was brought in by a rogue JW who thought he was every womans dream inside and OUTSIDE of the organization. His father was an elder and his mom was of the annointed. She told me (during one of our "studies") that one day she was on her knees scrubbing the kitchen floor and God spoke to her and she felt in her spirit Gods spirit and knew she was of the annointed. She said that it was such a privilege that she told God that her first born son could be used as God pleased in His service. (like Samuel LOL!) And so the son became the WORST kind of hypocrite and sexual deviate and she and HE actually believed that God was using him and making him do the things he was doing for the purpose of being an example of WHAT NOT TO BE as a JW!! I swear to you they both said that to me and they used that as their excuse for his continuing to this day to be a perv!
So every Memorial this woman would go into hiding for two weeks before, claiming that she needed to reflect on the incredible responsibility she had now as one of Gods chosen and oh the DRAMA....geeeeeez. She was the only annointed in our hall at the time so when Isabel came in looking weak and sad like Jesus on the cross, supported by her son and husband to partake of the emblems...all eyes were upon her which is of course exactly what she wanted.
I personally think she was inhaling cleaning fumes that day in the kitchen and delusional. Her husband used to flirt with me and other sisters saying that he had just gotten used to the idea that she was going to be taken off to heaven soon and he as an earthly class member would have to go on without her. So...he was already searching for his Millenium Woman even before she DIED.
Yep...the JWs are full of the weirdest people I ever met, before or since. :)

A big JWD welcome to both of you guys :) God...we do know the pain you are going through. It never ends except for those who were lucky enough not to have any friends and family in when they were. For the rest of it it tears our families apart and for what??? So a bunch of old farts in a Tower who controlled our lives can laugh at their control over us? And keep us under their thumbs because we know we will lose our families if we leave??
All that does is prove to us without a doubt that this organization is as far removed from God as they can be. I dont know about you...but the God I feel is out there is a kind, loving, compassionate FAMILY ORIENTED God and would smite the Watchtower for destroying what he has created if he could. I think the smiting is coming...slowly and surely. And perhaps our families will be freed in our lifetimes.
Hugs to you!

Sunday's public talk...
by kzjw inwent with the wife this week for the public talk (i simply will not sit through the watchtower study), the subject was about how poorly governments are taking care of thier people in disasters.
the speaker(who had a british accent) started by saying "burma(myanmar) had 2 tsunamis and the government sent flat screen tv's as aid for the refugees..." needless to say this dillweed lost me for the next 30 minutes of his talk about how man can't care for god's people.
i left during the study as always and returned at the end of the meeting, still burning over the glaring lie told by this "brother" which by the way no one even batted an eye in the congregation!

PS - the government there is NOT ALLOWING anyone to ship supplies into the country. So how does he figure flat screen TVs are meant for or even getting TO....any victims?? What a moron. The government has been stockpiling the GOOD stuff for themselves and giving the ROTTING food to the refugees THAT I DID HEAR on the news.

Those STRETCHES are part of JW culture. Like ask someone how many JWs were persecuted in the death camps under Hitler and you will hear probably THOUSANDs when the reality is more like a couple hundred MAYBE. Also...the Revelation book is a prime example of them taking EVERY SINGLE SCRIPTURE and applying it to themselves, their past, their elders, their governing body, their bible students their their their ad nauseum. I have always thought that their application of Revelation to themselves is roughly the equivalent of stretching a condom over a bowling ball.
I get your frustration! And KUDOS to you for letting him know you CAUGHT his ass in a lie!!

How Do You Make Money Online? Do You Want To Make Money Online?
by Pinball incoming out of the witnesses like many here with no university education, it's been a little difficult at times to know how to make a decent living.. since being disfellowshipped, for asking way too many difficult questions of the elders, i've found myself becoming more and more immersed in making money online.. perhaps you do the same?.
or on the other hand, perhaps you too are struggling to understand how you too, could make a decent living online?.
it seems to me, that this could be an awesome opportunity for some here involved in the business of making money online, to help fellow exwitnesses and others too, become more acquainted with some of the methods used to generating an ideal situation to earning for themselves more income.. of course, this can be a very confusing area for some people to understand and/or get to grips with.. so this got me to thinking this afternoon, how many of us here could help our fellow posters out.. my first question then is - if you are already making money online, how do you do it?

Be very wary of the SURVEYS thing you guys....most of them are just gathering your information so they can send you THEIR advertising on THEIR business or to trick you into signing up for other goods and services and subscriptions! And...your inbox will fill up with junk in a matter of hours. Been there and done that. Be VERY careful what information you put out there for them.
I tried two other online money making businesses as well....made NO money and it wasnt for a lack of effort on my part by any means. Its like Vegas people...they can afford all those gorgeous buildings and fountains and lights because the great majority of people LOSE money there.
Good luck....do your homework. If its too good to be true...it IS too good to be true.

My JW Wife....an evil twin has emerged
by oompa ini have let my wife know many times that it is me that has changed not her...and i know it has been very hard on her and not really fair.
but now on the rare occasion i mention something like why the hey would god ever let these earthquakes occur, and what in the heck does that have to do with universal sovereignty, and what an unbalance puishment thousands of years of death is for two people eating a fruit.....she will stand....pace....sound defiant...more like a drill instructor than a wife or dub...and just rattles off the indoctrinazation....scary..i could feel the icepick through my ribs.....this is a new development...and i wonder if the elders are "strengthening" her.
btw....god kills them in earthquakes so they will know they should be serving him???

Yep....my pink elephant has his own chair and remote in the living room. Been there so long. There is no doubt that there is another side to JWs when you corner their beliefs and its NOT pretty. You know like in the movies some poor schmuck will be having a conversation with a pretty woman and all of a sudden her face morphs into a skull and has teeth dripping with blood and emtpy black eye sockets? Yeah...like that.
A couple weeks ago I said to him 'Hey I heard you arent having the Book Studies at peoples houses any more?" He looked at me, didnt say a word, walked outside. ELEPHANT heard changing channels in the other room. Last Sunday, he comes in the house after being MIA with his suit on and books in hand....I look at him, eyeball the suit, register that I know where he just was....he walks past me into the bedroom. ELEPHANT is heard laughing at Comedy Central.
It never goes away.

That's what a man came up to me and said a few days ago. I work at Sams Club. Been there a month and nobody knows me from Adam. Im in charge of the soft goods section, the clothing, towels, shoes...and he came up and in all sincerity said that to me. I said "They did?" while I was folding t-shirts...."Yes he said, Im looking for the New Testament."
can you say LEFT FIELD?
So I said, "Well I know we had those at Christmas but maybe we still do because it was Easter fairly recently" I felt guilty at having to relegate the Bible to a SEASONAL ITEM but it is what it is. We went over to the books. And indeed there were four or five versions there.
"What were you looking for specifically?" I asked picking up a KJV that included both testaments "Well, the new testament" he repeated. I said well this one has both" "Both what?" he said looking puzzled. "Both the New AND the Old testaments....see it has Genesis? The New Testament starts in this back half of the book?" "Oh he said...there are two?" So I knew he was a newbie even at his age. It was endearing.
I looked at him..."Who is this for if I may ask?" "Well he said....it's for me actually. I want to start reading it. Just feel like I need to. Have you?" He asked kindly.
I smiled..."Yes I have read it...several times in fact. But I must admit I havent lately." I felt what was distinctively GUILT when I said that.
I noticed he was probably around my age, mid 50s, so I reached over and picked up the NIV in larger print and showed him. "Here" I showed him "This one is in larger print, it doesnt have what are supposed to be Jesus' s words all in red, you dont have the THEES and the THOUS to stumble over and its an easy to read translation."
He looked delighted. It was so cute. "Ooooh thats perfect! I just want to read it and see what it means to me without anybody TELLING me what Im supposed to get from it you know?"
"Yes I truly DO know my friend. Now...go get yourself a couple of highlighters over there in the office supply aisle and enjoy!"
"See?" he said clutching his new book "They sent me to the right person! Thank you!" and he walked off.
Makes you kinda wonder who the THEY was who sent him over to me :)

Why would Hidden Window need such information?
by White Dove inhw said to respond to his post only if you are an elder or ms. since i'm neither, i felt the need for a separate post to this unusual question by a relatively new member of jwd.
is his question out of bounds for a new poster?
it seems like a digging for facts so he can turn someone in type of question.

Im myself totally out so I dont have to watch over my shoulder any more but I sure do understand why people still have the paranoia. Im sure HW knows too as he himself is taking a risk posting here. Welcome HW by the way. :)
I think if the Society was bent on finding all of us they wouldnt have much trouble tracing our IP addresses or whatever to mete us out. Its like a giant paint ball game and everybody is shooting at everything that moves from both sides :)
chillax folks...98% of us arent looking to take anybody down and as for the other 2%? bring it!

They cant even be charitable with their PRAYERS which cost them NOTHING!! As long as I was a JW whenver there was a catastrophe around the world the brother would stand up there and lead us in prayer PRAYING ONLY FOR THE BROTHERS IN THE DISASTER AREA and never said didly SQUAT about anybody else who was suffering!
Made ME SICK!!
I said this before but after hurricanes Jeanne and Francis came right over us here in Florida we didnt have power for nearly 2 weeks. We were all helping each other with food, generators, repairs, clearing debris, getting gas....and there was a JW from my neighborhood with a big frickin sign on his pickup that said Jehovahs Witnesses Hurricane Relief and the ONLY PEOPLE HE WAS HELPING WERE OTHER WITNESSES!! I know this because he stopped by my house to try to recruit my husband to help him do this! My husband WISELY declined saying he had his hands full at home!
