Why do I no longer get attacked and persecuted by the demons, since I left JW,s ?

most jw.s really believe that they ( as we once did ) are promoting gods will, but what if they really are ?

is it possible that god is supporting them even though they (governing body ) lie, because most jw,s are ignorant of the lies told on their behalf, ?.

when i was a jw i got attacked by the demons bigtime, but not now, and i can only assume that they (demons ) are happy that i am no longer a jw and are now leaving me alone, cant think of any other reason, has god ever supported a group who were similarly found wanting ?.

No, you wouldn't. Visions, hallucinations, etc., are as completely real as anything else you are seeing, hearing or experiencing. No matter what you say, you DON'T know the difference.

I no longer get attacked by them, Im wondering why ? IF it is because Im no longer a JW.

Probably the same reason the painful, daily headache, stress, inability to focus and sleep issues I had disappeared when I left.

Before I left, I couldn't play golf. I mean, I knew how, I was good, but the last year I was in I lost the ability to play. Practice, lessons, nothing helped. Same with my headaches. They were almost a daily occurance, painful, debilitating blinding headaches. Diagnosed as migraines and nothing helped. Literally, withing days of getting DF'ed, all the tension, the stress, the worry and the depression went away.

Magically, my game returned, my work improved, my headaches disappeared. Do headaches love JWs? Do the gods of golf hate JWs?

All in your head.

I am just amazed that Jesus illiterate, Arimaic speaking disciples learned classical greek so they could write the gospels and then used word plays and anecdotes that only make sense in greek, not in the arimaic jesus or the disciples spoke. truly god is a wonder.

Is Rev 5:11-14 Worship or Obeisance?

i asked a jw last week the following question, "is revelation 5:11-14 a worship act to the lamb or an act of obeisance?.

revelation 5:11-14 nwt states and i saw, and i heard a voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders, and the number of them was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: the lamb that was slaughtered is worthy to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.

because it's an act of worship and it is not allow in your kingdom hall.

How can I get past the anger?

i have gotten through so much of the anger i felt toward my parents for their part in my screwed up childhood.

i know they were just doing what they thought was right.

but now, as i celebrate holy and special days with my children i feel a new anger because i cannot give them the big family celebration they deserve.

article in our local paper stating that atheists have far better sex lives than religious people, who are plagued with guilt during intercourse and for weeks afterwards, researches have found.. a study found that non-believers were more willing to discuss sexual fantasies and more satisfied with their experiences..... then went on to say that strict religions such as mormons ranked highest on the scale of sexual guilt.

their average score was 8.19 out of 10. they were followed closely by jehovah's witnesses, pentecostals, seventh day adventists and baptists.

interesting that catholics scored 6.34.. this article brought back memories for me as a newly married jw.

On the other side of the coin, can you imagine what the elders must have gone through listening to sisters who ran to them with every trivial detail.

That's probably the most action they get all year. They, no pun intended, lap it up.

You can get by with sex and whisky and I'm available.

Or, you know, therapy and letting go and moving on and realizing you can't control other people's choices, just your own and realizing that it's YOUR choice how to move on now, you can hold on to the anger and let it hold you back or let it go and move forward.

But the occasional weeked of sex and drinking never hurt, either.

BP, yesterday they were asking me to google "how to sleep with your eyes open". I told them the best trick I know, turn slightly to the side, open the Bible and prop your head up like you are paying attention and then snooze for 15 minutes.
