  The implication is that Jesus was more of the same old prophet; if we accept at least some of the given text, that isn't true.

  Still, the core sayings of Jesus paint him as someone out of the mainstream.

  Uh, not really. First, all of those things pre-date Jesus, and saying three nice things while condoning by silence all of the horrible stuff doesn't make him "not mainstream". What made him not mainstream was challenging the ruling class to a dick measuring contest.

  i wanted to start this thread two weeks ago,however i have had alot going on with wifey and the elders,that is another thread.

  to be honest my mind has been on my family.

  i will be able to discuss the book tommorow morning.

  Of all the hominidae, humans are better equipped for survival mainly because their higher intelligence.

  What variables did you control for to arrive at this conclusion? What factors did you take into account? What factors led you to restrict it to homidae rather than apes?

  Jesus never said anythingt about them. The is the definition of "silent".

  Your portrayal of Jesus as a racist and misogynist is completely without merit and support.

  12 apostles and not one of them a woman? Jesus support of women is completely missing. Jesus condemnation of slavery is missing. Jesus condemnation of women as property is missing. Jesus condemnation of all sorts of things is missing. He wasn't terribly supportive of anything other than following him to heaven.

  Or you could use science and get an actual answer.

  However, there are many groups of "Creationists" that oppose YEC.

  I know. It's hilarious to see two groups, both 100% wrong, argue about who is the most wrong. Utterly hilarious.

  The issue here is, "who gets to dicate who can and cannot comment on this thread" ? objections were made by one member, when a creationist view based on the Bible was put forward.

  Cofty has already clarified that's what what he meant. Please do try to keep up.
