  this question has been bugging me for a while now .

  since the last thread on the biblical flood.. it's like this .

  .. immediately prior to the flood, jehovah had deemed the earth full of badness, totally wicked and "ruined" .

  Just to clarify . . .

  There's been a number of threads on the credibility of the Biblical flood . . . a couple of them started by me.

  The evidence both for and contrary to it's authenticity is discussed here . . .

  The questions here are being asked in the hypothetical framework of Biblical teaching and JW (or wider) Christian belief.   Love the "school age" illustration for a group that just LOVES everyone to get a decent education. The overlap will last indefinitely for all those still stuck in 3rd Grade.

  i thought it best i stay a lurker.

  it's just right now, i'm going through some doubts and just plain discouraged.

  sometimes, trying to do everything just wears me out, and i feel like i'm suffocating.

  Thanks for bumping this thread. You're right . . . leaving WT doesn't solve all our problems . . . it can even create some new ones. But living a reality instead of an illusion no matter the challenges, personal or otherwise, is far more desirable I'm sure you'll agree. You've made tremendous progress . . . don't expect that to stop . . . BP's right . . . for XJW's things tend to get better year by year. You've got good things in your future just waiting to be discovered. Glad you are here.
