Let eggnog try... that's why the GB wants him (her?) off sites like this. It just becomes an embarassment for them. The GB doesn't want eggnog on here, not because of the spiritual dangers we might pose to eggnog. Rather, it is because eggnog does more damage than we could on our own.
Precisely MeanMrMustard . . . . and there's no better example than this . . .
That's like a mother that should get so upset that she leaves the doctor's office to which she and her child had travelled some 90 minutes for a 11:00 am appointment in order to obtain immunization against a disease for which he child had already begun presenting symptoms upon being informed that the doctor would be unavoidably delayed for 45 minutes due to an emergency at a nearby hospital, so that he was expected to arrive at 11:45 am. One would think that a child's life would be more important than whether someone was 90 minutes late for an appointment. Isn't the prospect of receiving everlasting life more important than maybe the likelihood that Jehovah's Witnesses are wrong about 607 BC? . . . DJEggnog
Ignoring for a moment the world record attempt at sentence length . . . I had precisely the same reasoning thrown at me regarding the allegorical nature of Genesis . . . namely . . . everlasting life in paradise is far more important than whether or not the bible agrees with science.
Therein you have your admission from DJEggnog . . . my faith in the future I wish for, is far more important than truth or fact.
Everyone that gets sucked in makes the same mistake.
