Wordfamine is the worst kind of person to try and reason with. Shows a ridiculous video, has it ripped to shreds by logic and it's buddy reason, states opinion more forcefully without video this time and with irrelevant link. Any attempt at discussion will be met with nothing more than "'bortions bad, mmkay?"

for the majority, i observed they are better remainning in the religion than leaving.
what benefit is there to strain family relationship because you want to be free?, please tell me, of what value is that freedom?,.

A Moment Of Truth For 'Illuminati' Types!
by metatron insometimes i post here because i don't know where else i should post, as to odd or unusual ideas.
there seem to be quite a lot of people on the internet who zealously believe that the world is covertly ruled by some conspiracy or masonic lodge or bilderberg group or intelligent reptiloid aliens who dress up as the british royal family ( i imagine an alien complaining, 'why do i have to be queen elizabeth?').
in other words, a bunch of powerful people who control everything.. well, it seems to me that we are approaching a moment in which we will see just how much control any such group really has.

It's the banality of evil. Everyone wants there to be a villian at the top, some make him the devil, others make him human (or a group of humans), some make it aliens, but everybody wants there to be some character twirling their mustache and laughing maniacally. Such a view is very comforting, and it just feels like it makes sense. We're all so smart and hard working, why don't things turn out better? But the cold truth is that as a race we act irrationally, and not in any unified way. History repeats itself; civilizations rise and collapse, countries appear and disappear, economies grow and crash. It's not the will of secret organizations, or supernatural forces. It is merely the ticking of the biological clock, our deeply ingrained instinct to act in such a way that benefits ourselves, even to the detriment to those around us. And we do it without even realizing it, because that's what instinct is. As long as mankind keeps looking for boogiemen, and blaming invisible monsters for our problems, we will continue to ignore the problems that really ail us.

To the OP (have not read the 9 pages of lord knows what that followed)
That is the worst and most cowardly advice you could give to anyone. What you're saying boils down to "live a lie, it's better to keep the peace." Would you say that to a gay person in the closet? Your family will be angry, relationships will shatter, just marry a woman and pretend you're straight? Would you say that to a scientologist? Your family will "disconnect" if you disagree? Just keep going to the psychic healing sessions?Fuck that. That is egregiously bad advice.
Your advice plays right into the psychology that they have instilled in you. That if your family falls apart, that if your children reject you, if your life is destroyed by leaving, then that is YOUR FAULT. Because they didn't do anything wrong. You did by leaving. Your advice is probably the most sickeningly cowardly thing I have seen in weeks. Living for truth hurts, and its a struggle, but the reward on the other side is far greater than a life of lies and deceit. It sucks that we got pulled into a scam that invariably altered the course of our lives, nothing is going to make that right. But the damage is already done, it's not done because you leave, it was already done the instant you answered "Yes" in front of an audience of thousands. The scars that we bear for years are not from leaving. They are the wounds that healed over after we left. Had we stayed they only would've festered beneath our neat little suits, and nice little dresses, killing us from the inside.
Don't take this cowards advice. Live your life for truth, or spend your life letting your wounds become infected, giving yourself the solace that at least your family doesn't think you're diseased, as long as you keep nodding your head.

Pwned. Logic and reason triumph over far more interesting conspiracy theories yet again. Human civilization is far more mundane than some people give it credit for. Sure it would be more interesting if it was more like James Bond, The Da Vinci Code, or Assassin's Creed, but it's not. Some lunatics flew planes into buildings. It wasn't the illuminati, or shadowy organizations.
