YES, I went out and bought one right after I left. I wore it all the time at first. Now I switch it out with other jewelry I have. It is the universal symbol of Christianity. I want people to know I am a Christian. But I also realize a lot of non-christians wear them.

i just had a big bowl of chili..but..thats not the gas i want to talk about..lol!

!..........i went to the nearest gas station which costs me $7.00 in gas to get to..i couldn`t believe how much gas had gone up since i had been there last..$1.30 per litre!

!..or..$5.20 per gallon for premium gas..outrageous!

I get around 25 mpg with my Camry and here in Las Vegas the cheapest Unleaded is about $2.90.

My hairdresser has been diagnosed with lower bile duct cancer. She is 21 years old and a wonderful girl with her whole life ahead of her. She needs your prayers. This coming Friday she will undergo major surgery (Whipple Procedure) and if she survives that and she doesn't have any cancer in her lymph nodes they will begin chemotherapy. Her chances of 5 year survival are less than 40 percent. She needs your prayers. Please pray for Raeann for the strength to go through this and to be one of the survivors of this horrible cancer. Please type a line or two to keep this message at the top so everyone can see this. THANKS:)

an article published by the bbc, sparks some controversy about dying or near death experiences.. the article goes on to state that individuals who were clinically dead were brought back to life.

individuals who past on to the "afterlife" claimed: "it was beautiful, one of the most wonderful.

There is a book called 90 Minutes in Heaven. Its about a guy who was in a bad car accident and was dead and then came back. Great book a must read. I work in the medical field, in the Cath Lab actually. There have been several times where we have worked on someone for an hour or so and they make it. What I mean by this is they are not breathing and they do not have a pulse, their heart is not beating, we are doing CPR and breathing for them. I would consider that pretty much dead. The only reason they come back with their brain in tact is because of good CPR and that we intubated them. Where is their soul during that time I have no idea. I don't get to talk to them later.

For mother's out there...cleaning a son's bedroom!

my son is twenty years old, a good kid, is doing great in college so i usually keep the door closed to his bedroom so i don't have to look.

today he took out a huge batch of laundry for me to do and the odor from that bedroom had me reeling.. here is my humorous but deadly serious post on the matter:!!!!!.

after vacuuming, enough dust to fill the entire dust bin in the vacuum.. enough change on the floor to keep him in fast food for a week.....(don't ask me for money).

Why do people go to church. What is the purpose? You don't have to go to a certain place to worship God. You can do that anywhere, anyhow you want to. I was just wondering, actually I mentioned that I might go to church this evening and my daughter asked me why. I go every now and then. I don't know it is uplifting to me some how. I was wondering what others think?

i think this is a good thread to post feelings about the various evolution/creation and atheism/theism disputes on this discussion board.. i don't really care whether most people believe in god or not.

all i care about is that science keeps doing its job.

most theists are going to contribute almost nothing to the next stage of scientific progress.

You don't believe in God.... so Who cares. Honestly, you are entitle to your own opinion. However, Science has never been able to prove how life began. All they have is theories. Theories are educated guesses at best. Evolution is a theory and I don't care if it is taught in school as long as it is taught as a THEORY because that is what it is. I hate it when then present it as if it is a fact. As long as they are teaching the THEORY of Evolution they can also teach the THEORY of Creation. That way kids can be presented with all the facts and make an informed decision.
