W.H. Amazing conspiracy theory there about "shunning". However from what I remember it was a Biblical command, can't remember the scripture, but it was something like Not mixing with unbelievers and those that went out from among us. Sorry, but it stretches the imagination to believe that the WT keeps this policy so that the faithful are some how protected from some "real truth" that is found on sites like these. And you say if someone "does" return, then they haven't found out this "real truth", so its "safe" to let them return?? Hmmmm, come on now.

Dissing the JWs....
by ScoobySnax ini've been inactive for a few years now, and yet, despite all i read, i can't feel as you mostly all do.
i have a lot of happy memories of being "in the truth" (and i know how much some here hate that line) and fond memories of the meetings and assemblies, sure it was much easier to break away and live life like i am now,..... but well, thats just how i feel.
i can understand those that may leave for personal reasons, but not sure i'll ever understand some here who have such a hatred of anything jw related.

Well said LB...... I was beginning to think it was just me..... I mean, this bloke cheats on his wife twice, admits to being a bad husband to her generally, suddenly "finds Jesus" and then blames her and the WT beacause she leaves him. Poor woman....hope she finds a better life, and a better husband. Its laughable that some here as so blinded by their hatred of the WT that they can't see the bottom line......Sheesh!

Actually I think the storyline is great, was getting sick of the Kat/doctor thing on EastEnders, a bit of light, black glove murder thing was a relief to me, all I wanna know is has Gail gone totally GA-GA, I mean, any partener who looks sideways, in that way, as much as Richard does, must have something to hide...........then again, maybe I should get out more! ha ha

hmmmm........maybe the part that once made you think it was the Truth and many others here, I don't know. In truth, I don't think I've been hoodwinked, bullied, lied too, or any other negative about the JWs that you read of here, thats not to make others viewpoints invalid, itsjust mine.
Rebel.....I know where you're coming from, some here are intimadating, like some at the KH, this forum takes on a religious fervour of its own sometimes..... its amazing to watch it. Just keep an open mind.

I could say though Xander, that the path you have chosen is "bizarre" to me, but hey, we've all got that free choice to choose that which we "think" is right, your way doesn't have to be mine and vice-versa. We're not in the KH here (by a long stretch of the imagination!).....so to answer your reply, yes I do think they are the true religion, you can think otherwise, of course!
