Can you just paste the link without trying to use the image insertion tool?
The " Are you sure you want to continue without including an Image Description?..." message is fine. I generally skip the description.

It worked for me.
I right clicked the photo chose "view all sizes-> original"
From there I right clicked and chose "view image". View image might be called something different based on your browser. I'm using firefox.
Now the image should be on the page all by itself. I copied the url and pasted it into the add image tool
Mine link was http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2408/1792554131_6696f5629d_o.jpg
Note: linking like this might be against the terms of service but if they close my account i don't really care.
See the "Where is the HTML code and photo file link?" section on flicker for the method they want you to use.

Not that old chestnut....
by quellycatface injust come off the phone to my mum.
she asked me why i da'd from the wtbts, she'd been to the meeting this morning and she'd been at the bottle as well - not a good combo, for her, anyway.. i said i did'nt want to go into it too much, as i may stumble her.
she kept pushing so i said, last year i was'nt happy about the overlapping generation doctrine and did'nt agree that the org had taken bits out of the nwt.

The one thing I want to ask a jdub, if I ever have the chance to talk to one, is "what has the organization gotten right"?
When I was in that we predicited 1914 was always the anchor and we could overlook the other mistakes and changes.

4000 year old cuneiform tablet says Ark was "round".
by designs ina cuneiform tablet from around 1750bce describes a noah type named atra-hasis building a 2/3rds stadium size round ark to save humans and animals from the gods wrath.
one of the gods, enki, informs atra of the other gods plans along with how-to instructions.. www.haaretz.com under archeology.. why couldn't we have had a god named enki, is that cool or what.... .

Enki is from Sumerian mythology, I haven't read up on that in quite a while, might be time to dust off that chestnut.
They were quite smart or maybe "educated", perhaps by extra terestrials??? (one of the more interesting interpretations of the bible I have found)
http://www.stopnwo.com/enki.html
Along with a lot of other forward thinking ideas, I belive they thought the earth was round, or at least a half globe, long before other people figured it out.

Someone I know wants to go back to the meetings
by StephaneLaliberte ini am presently fadding out and a person that i know sent me an email telling me he was going back to his meeting.
how can i let him know that i think he probably will be better outside if he keeps trying without running the risk that he goes back and forward the email to a local elder?.
.

Will they have to pay attention at the meetings? If so that was one of the things that finially woke me up.
Meetings while DFed were so hard to sit through when I had nothing to do but listen to them.

Could an argument be made that the religious requirements for food to meet Jewish Kosher and Muslim Halal standards is a kind of FALSE "religious blessing" on the food?
Interesting point, I don't ever remember that being discussed. We always used to use Kosher wine and unlevened bread for the memorial.

What allows parents to shun their children ?
by man in black inmy son, went to college and got his bachelors degree.
he started his own anmation company about two years ago, and it really has taken off.. while my wife and i were witnesses, we both received grief about allowing our son to go to college, but we stood up for him and backed his decision to attend 110%.. anyway, this past week he finally closed on a very nice, neat condiminium .. and while he is getting ready to move out on his own, i have quite a few feelings of sadness,as a parent, seeing him move on is kinda rough, but realizing that this is a very good thing for him makes it easier.
he will only be about 7 miles away.

They have no natural affection.
And if they had any residual love left over the borg systematically takes it away.
You aren't allowed to do any of the normal things to show your children you love them. Such as Xmas and the birthday restriction is beyond ridiculous.
Yea I'm sure Jehovah put those examples in the bible to warn you against celebrate the miracle of birth.
I'm pretty sure those scriptures are better explained with a Dave Barry quote:"There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to
make a big deal about your birthday. That time is: age 11."
And you spend your whole time in the borg being suspicious of everyone.
I was always afraid to get close to anyone, I knew that any day I might be told never to speak to them again.
