RBC accident report paperwork on jwleaks? why does it matter if elder

on one of the recent boe letters, they sent a rbc form to document any accidents on the jobsite.

there is a portion to check if the injured person was an elder, pioneer, ms, etc.... .

why does this matter?

Does seem rather odd that they want to know your rank.

I remember the quick builds when they were fun. Nothing more fulfilling that a Saturday off of service, hanging out and flirting with all the cute sisters in hard hats and workboots. Guess GB found out and people were enjoying themselves so they put a stop to it. Or maybe they found out the halls were built so poorly that it cut into the resale value.

Anyone remember the story of the Mall that was taking a long time to complete and one of the politicians said "we should call it the kingdom hall mall and get the JWs down here to finish it"?

Baptisms only at regional ( district ) assemblies from 2014 / 15 service year?

just a rumour but i guess it makes sense - i've a friend on a circuit committee ( he knows it's not "the truth" but for family & work reasons he stays in ) & he says that the wtbts have told them not to book a swimming pool for next years one day assemblies as the plan is to have only one baptism a year at the main regional ( what they used to call "district" ) convention.. with the drop off in baptisms so that sometimes there isn't anyone baptised or just a handful , i guess this is inevitable.

i remember going to a baptism a few years ago - we had hired a municipal 25 metre swimming pool and only one person ( a rather confused and scared middle aged lady who hadn't been in a swimming pool since her youth ) was being baptised - it was all something of a farce with the "worldly" staff looking on very puzzled at such an elaborate & expensive ceremony for one person.

) also with both assemblies being one day with just short morning & afternoon sessions , i suppose it is sensible to ditch the baptism talk - it tends to be something of a snoozefest anyway at the end of the morning session.

The jw's baptising younger and younger people is just like a company that cuts costs to the bone to make their bottom line look better.

It only lasts so long before it catches up with you.

I really don't understand how anyone can't see a problem with children being baptised.

I got baptised at 18 or 19 and even then I had no clue what I was getting myself into.

while browsing throught my facebook timeline today, i came across a post from a facebook "friend" who is a hardcore zealous jw.

he obviously has no idea that i'm an apostate.

and so this person provides me endless entertainment on a daily basis with his delusional posts about the org.. today we had this gem, where he said he had just designed his paradise home in photoshop which i am posting a picture here.

My new system home was going to be a cabin in the woods as far away from people as possible.

I planned on driving my car into a ditch and learning to ride a horse.

Bet the FuDS would have had something to say about that.

did my baptism include "you will preach and accept any change, big or small, or we can call you an apostate?".

meaning, has anyone, or could anyone opt out of the org when they make changes that you did not originally agree to when you were baptized as a jw?.

i have basically refused to go out in service or support the org (with money or in the rbc) and i have a real hard time even conjuring up an answer at any meeting because of the 8 man "body " that put itself in power.

You can leave any time you like but they will shun you if you talk against them.

If thats a problem for you then no you don't have an out.

No loopholes for the RNF (rank and file) plenty of loopholes for the changing doctrines.

four years ago i was still in the org.

completly enjoying an extended coffee break when an elderly (80+) brother coyly remarked with a half smile on his face and holding up his third cup as if to salute his revelation "these sure are critical times hard to deal with.

i nervously laughed along and then quickly changed the subject as a dutiful elder should.

someone told me today that at the annual meeting something was said along the lines that, we do not need to be like the boreans and search that everything is true because we know we have the truth.

They have been saying that for years. It even made sense when I was in.

The idea is that you took care of all that stuff when you first studied.

Too bad that never actually happens. Well it might happen but not likely by anyone who went through with baptism.

Sad, you when you are studying you obey the "suggestion" to ignore naysayer. Then later they say sorry, it's too late, you had your chance to verify that this is the truth.
