Question: What would happen if...

i had been feeling a little sick so i took some nyquil which gave me the craziest dream last night where i saw a jdub plan out and kill each one of the gb!

I had been feeling a little sick so I took some NyQuil which gave me the craziest dream last night where I saw a Jdub plan out and kill each one of the gb! Each made to look like an accident or like an illness. I don't know all their names and at this point I've forgotten most of their faces but It was very graphic and detailed. It was also a little frightening

There was a specific plan for each one. The brother was a bethelite and knew exactly what and where the gb would be. He poisoned one with a tasteless, odorless, untraceable substance. He then killed another by co2 poisoning. He mixed sleeping meds in another and drugged one as he took a bath in which he ultimately drowned to death. Then during a convention, he loosened the bolts on the stairs for the stage by going underneath it during the gb member's talk and placed electrical wires on the floor and a small cup of water edged between the crack of the top stair so that when he stepped on the second step it collapsed and the water made contact with the electric wiring causing a nasty bright electric shock that fried him instantly! That's all I can remember clearly, everything else is fuzzy.

It all happened so fast that it caught everyone off guard! I can't remember how all of them died I just know that it was intense and it brought this and other questions to mind.

So what do you guys think?

Old time JW's did some very devout JW's refuse to eat pizza with pepperroni because they believed "blood" was in the pepperroni?

i have never heard this before until i read a life story of an ex-jws and how some jws in the past refused to eat pepperoni pizza because they thought blood was in pepperoni.

i do know some elderly jw sisters would complain about eating steak if it bled while cooking.

has anybody else heard of this pizza nonsense?.

Well I'd say that's crazy but when it comes to the org sadly nothing surprises me anymore...

And although I'm too young to have lived through the bloody pepperoni era, I did attend a party err I mean "gathering" where an sister was hauled into the back room for bringing "devils food cake" because it had stumbled some of the brothers in attendance!

It's both so ridiculously funny and sad!

Baptismal Questions CHANGE AGAIN!

i attended recently a circuit assembly and notice a change in the wording of the 2nd baptismal question .it used to be :.

"do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of jehovah's witnesses in association with god's spirit-directed organization?

now they changed it to :.

I just finished working on the audio recording for the special day assembly last week and in listening to the bother asking the questions all I heard were the same old ones... Nothing changed here!

But I've got several more to go to and even though I spend most of the time in the back rooms surfing the web in the sound/sign rooms or watching tv in the administration room (haha I never noticed that I get away with so much) I'll step into the main auditorium for the b-talk and have a good listen.

If anything changes, I'll definately steal the audio and post it on here!

so far it's been great although it is a very long and annoying process!

so i'm very good friends with the coordinating elder in the new hall since we've known each other for years and so instead of mailing them to the other hall he decided to pass them on to my dad so he could give them to me and for me to give them to the other hall.

So here's the deal, I am now in possession of my very own publisher cards. After opening the envelope and holding them in my hands I got this feeling of both power and disgust as they show just how much like a publishing company they are more so than a religion! I read here in the past that if you ever got a hold of your publisher cards that it could facilitate your leaving but I'm sketchy on the details. Could you guys give me some advice (especially from elders, ex-elders, ex-bethelites) or info on what to do with them? It would be great as I never thought I'd actually have them! Thanks! thanks again for the comments on the ipad in kh rules.

on a similar vein, i've been thinking of all the books i can leave behind once our kh blesses the ipad phenomenon.

in the meantime, this is what i have to lug in and why:.

I stopped bringing my bag to the meetings and just brought the bible, song book, KM, pen, and the book we study or the watchtower for sunday.

Then I slowly stopped bringing my song book as brothers are always so willing to share theirs with you

It's gotten to the point where now I just leave my stuff in the KH sound department box since I'm one of the only ones who operates it.

It's fun to see the brother's reactions as I enter the hall with my hands in my pockets and nothing but a "I dont give a f**k" grin!

Appropritate and Inappropriate Prayers.

I havent prayed "for real" in years, as I believe that it just isnt very effective. But to answer your question, there simply is no right or wrong way to pray... There is no list of general guidlines all human beings must follow in order to get your prayer to god... Any rules put on prayer have been by man, not a divine being.

Oh and Killa you nailed it man! I was LMAO haha!

If that was the "correct" way to pray to god, then I'd start praying again!

Lots of Good News everybody!

you know one of the reasons why some witnesses decide to stay inside is to help others wake up and leave as well, and although this hasnt been exactly a goal of mine, it was something i'd ponder every now and again.

and we all know that it is not easy to get to jw's when they are fully mind controlled.

but i'd like to tell you guys what's been happening with brothers and sisters without the help of others who know ttatt.... so last night i got a phone call from a brother who's a good friend of mine whom i've talked about in the past here.

And we all know that it is not easy to get to JW's when they are fully mind controlled. But I'd like to tell you guys what's been happening with brothers and sisters without the help of others who know TTATT...

So last night I got a phone call from a brother who's a good friend of mine whom I've talked about in the past here. I hadn't seen him for about a month even though he goes to my hall. He had been having doubts with the Watchtower and other things, along with some of the elders in the congregation.

He told me that he is no longer a regular pioneer and that he is on his way to becoming inactive!

I could hear the happiness in his voice as he told me how he changed to full time at his job which requires him to travel a lot and that he was feeling less stress with everyday that he missed a meeting.

I told him that I myself was on my way to becoming inactive as well and that I was very happy for him!

Then today, during work, I got a text message from the sister that took me for quite a ride last year, (when after not liking the organization and it's teachings, went to Bethel and decided to get baptized). Well she said if we could talk so I called her and she after catching up a bit she said that she hadn't been to a meeting in about 3 months and that she didn't miss it at all!

She said that when she started believing in the doctrines and beliefs of the WTBTS that the brothers and sisters in the hall would cause so much drama and gossip that would become almost unbearable for her, and that on the other hand, when there was no gossip or problems with the brothers, that the teachings of the org just didnt make sense at all!

So she moved to another congregation and then just stopped attending meetings. Then she asked for her privilages to be removed due to "family reasons" but in reality she said she'd just had enough of all the bullshit.

I was in shock for a while.

Two of my dearest friends who at one point were "rank in file" members are now on their way out... Oh yeah and so am I lol.

I thought this would be nice to share with you guys since I know some of you are trying to wake your loved one's up. I guess this is a little sign of hope. Now I only hope that my parents could wake up to the BS at some point as well. I've realized it doesnt hurt to much to be a little optimistic.

Oh and as a side note, I'd like to point out that both of these people have never been to apostate websites, or even read any anti-watchtower info. They are just noticing that there's something really wrong with the org. and they dont want to be a part of it. (Although, I bet that if they did see TTATT then they'd really be like WTF?? I knew it! haha)
