  Our Anniversary Surprise

  yesterday, the kids surprised us with a sunset dinner cruise, as their gift to us for our anniversary.

  it was very elegant, on the top deck of a large catamaran, dining vessel, off of waikiki and diamond head.

  we had waiters (not a buffet) and great entertainment.

  you know most of us spend a large part of our lives in a religion that allowed for no independant thinking.

  we were taught and taught others that ours was the only way and anyone who thought differently was going to be judged unworthy and die.

  anyone who presumed to think outside the box was branded "apostate" or not good association.

  Beliefs are superficial.....

  Beliefs are not real and can change manytimes in our lives....

  I hate that people all over the world choose to make life altering and sometimes life ending choices over beliefs...

  Tolerance should be shown for all....regardless of status....even the most far out ones...most things can't be explained and there is no reason for us to take a stand totally against someone because of their beliefs...

  Compared to years past, it was pretty good, gained a grandson....have a new job.....!!

  I am in a winding down status with me life?? Trying to decide when and where to retire???

  I don't know why I have problems with depression??? My life is good....

  The B-6 thedoctors have me on is helping....??

  1. sometimes life just sucks, take it and move on.. 2. scarlett was right, some things are best left until tomorrow.. 3. never count on someone else to look out for your best interests, if its important follow through yourself.. 4. home is where you lay your head down at night, wherever that is.. 5. dont even think this is the worst day of my life, it can get worse and you dont want to know how.. 6. keep your greatest treasures in your heart, youll never run out of storage space.. 7. give more love than you think you can, broken hearts do heal and heal stronger.. 8. everyone has two families, one they were born to and one they chose.

  9. you can always make friends, start with hi.. 10. the greatest measure is not what you have, its what you are willing to give.. happy new year!!.

  Very interesting insight....

  It is easy to get down and sometimes hard to get up....

  I make friends easily but holding onto real relationships is difficult.....

  okay, i know that historical evidence is that jerusalem fell in 586/7 instead of 607 - as the wtbts would have.

  however, that is not compelling enough to show a hypothetical jw.

  they (generally) must not only be show that the opposition is correct, but that the wtbts is wrong.

  Our inheritance is going to WTS

  just found out yesterday, by way of the grapevine, that my jw husband's inheritance from his parents, is going to the wts.

  i had been trying to tell my husband that the wts is doing this now, and he did not believe me.

  and would u believe it, we heard yesterday, from his his nephew, that it is so, they are not leaving anything to their kids, all to the wts.

  I can't believe that parents would be so stupid....

  The org surely doesn't need it...and unless their kids are millionaires and don't nees the money this is a disgrace...

  Maybe they think they can buy their way into heavan....new system....whatever!!!

  Gallstone Experience, etc.? Scully?

  i was wondering if anyone would have any really great enlightenment from their own experience with gallstone attacks.

  however, i had a wicked attack last night .

  so, has anyone had this disorder and know any great solutions (short of surgery, which doesn't seem called for yet in my case) for avoiding these (ouch!

  My wife had gallstone surgery on November 25th, 2002. She had struggled with them for a long time, although we didn't realize it until just before the surgery.

  The surgery is pretty simple now, they don't even make a big scar. She has four little tiny scars. She had the surgery on Monday and came home on Tuesday afternoon.

  Laparoscopic cholecystectomy has become the excepted surgical type. I think the main concern with this procedure is the tearing of the bile ducts. They are trying to decide whether or not to repeat my wifes, it seems they didn't get all of the gallstones?

  If she ate anything greasy like bacon she had her symptoms.

  ... you need to let me know and give me some time to deal with it.. please remember:there are thousands of posts made every week and i can't read all of them.

  i will miss things however much i try not to especially if it's developed in the middle of an unrelated topic (the reason topics made directly attacking are more often dealt with is that they are much easier to spot).

  don't assume i have even seen something and ignored it - you need to let me know.because of timezone differences, even if you email me it can take a day or two for me to get it, check into things and take action.

  Are you going to change the levels of posting ID's also? ie - jedi - etc???

  1) I have an idea, maybe the ones that want to be identified would get a different type of account that way you could see easier who is giving you problems? In other words, "status for giving you more information"...

  2) Also a way to donate funds to you without giving away my i dentity ....I am using your site non stop and have no way, that I am aware of to donate...??

  3) My buttons for color, only red and some other never have worked...

  Bible is God's word?

  id like to hear some *reasoned* explanations for why you believe the bible is gods word.

  ive been so fascinated by the study of *real* biblical scholarship since i began educating myself, i now find it incredulous that i used to take the bible as divine, along with all jws and tons of christians, including a good number here.

  so id like to entertain your very best lines of evidence that this is the real deal.. mox
