  let me start out by saying this will be a sad topic.

  but i want to ask and seek support.. about two years ago my first daughter was stillborn.

  i was almost 42 weeks pregnant with her.

  I am not very good at this....for a guy that was never going to finish high school or GOD forbid be 50...

  My daughter has miscarried several times. This makes me wonder how she has dealt with it.

  In six seconds of reading your post I was in tears....

  I am sooooo lucky to have all of my kids - grandkids healthy.

  My wife is going through a lot with breast cancer right now and I am not much help!!!

  I am so sorry that this has to happen to you, if I were GOD I would not allow it............................................. NEVER

  our witness family was obsessed with demonism.. at a very early age, i was introduced to strange stories of demonism.

  a brother in the congregation had brought home a souvenier doll from a tropical island as a gift for his daughter.

  the daughter would talk about how the doll would come to life, but the stories were dismissed and attributed to the child's imagination.

  I wish the stuff in the news in our country were more reliable...it is probably the same all over the world though???

  The truth doesn't come out in the coverage. I watched the OJ trail everyday, and the things that were mentioned in the press never got into the trail in many cases....I never heard a retraction either....

  Now some security officer says he saw Michael obusing a child first hand...where has this guy been?????

  I wish I lived closer so I could go to the trial everyday and listen to the testimony...

  you've got people puttin in an average of 10 hours a month, giving away countless publications, and still only converting one or two families every 20 years or so.

  this raises an obvious question, "if the door to door ministry doesn't bring in converts why do it?

  You guys have covered the reasons well.....keep u busy, view from public (image), got to get rid of millions of copies printed every year.....all that....

  Except I believe the door to door work is still affective, and is bringing in thousands each year. The numbers are s tagnant because they are going out the back door as fast as they can be converted?

  i believe that the jw's claimed so many numbers, but the actual figures were lower.
