A missionary-sister got fed up with her assignment but the husband didn't want to leave the service. So she, one afternoon, just went to a farm and offered herself to the first farmer she met. Well he took her and she confessed.
I was on the committee but the branch-coördinator called me the morning before the committee ( with a co and a Bethel elder) that under No circumstances she should be disfellowshipped because of the jw reputation in the town where the missionary-home was located. We didn't of course, they were just send back to California. The poor bastard even forgave her.

Disfellowshipped for being complicit in someone else's sin - really?!
by Isambard Crater ina close friend of mine who is pimo (only staying in for family reasons) in a neighboring congregation called me in tears tonight saying her dad (elder) is telling her he is seriously considering reporting her to her local elders and she could get disfellowshipped.. the reason?
because she is complicit in a gross sin, according to him, by going with her best friend (not a j.w.
) when the friend had an abortion.

Crater, tell your friend not to worry. Even if the fools would start an investigation and committee, let her just appeal and she will be found not guilty.

No way. Her father is wrong. The "sin" is committed by a wordly person. Compare it to go with a wordly person into a tobaccoshop buying Cigarettes.

Do JW Public Family Obituary Notices Include Names of Disfellowshipped Family Members
by steve2 ini have read some heart-rending accounts on this forum - and on reddit - of ex-jws not finding out about the deaths of their jw family members - especially elderly fathers or mothers - until sometimes weeks after the deaths, if at all.
and even then, they learn of the deaths via tersely communicated messages delivered probably due to a skerrick of remaining conscience by the jw-family spokesperson that the "decent" thing is to let the disfellowshipped individual know their own father or mother has died.. a whole range of painful issues are stirred up by that topic alone.
but it has also raised in my mind other related issues:.

I disfellowshipped my parents, so did my brother. They ruined our childhood and life untill I was 39 and saw the light. Let them go, I just want the inheritance that's all.

If a person is transgender and gets saved what will they go to heaven as?
by Nikorasu95 ini know this is a stupid question because the answer is obvious, but if a person was born a male and gets transgender surgery to turn into female will that person go to heaven as a male or female if they died saved?
i think they will go to heaven with the gender they were born with.

Good man as I am, I paid here 500 euros a month, for 12 years. Havent heard everything for years from her. I guess she is inactive...a woman hyperactive, doing 170-180 hours a month in a tropical climate. It's sad but it is how it is.
No problem Hecce, thanks for your concern.
