  Who Passed Jesus' Inspection In 1919?

  i was looking over the upcoming september 15 watchtower study article where it says that in 1919, something woke (the anointed) up!

  jesus had come to inspect all those who called themselves christians.

  some of the anointed did not pass this inspection.. but as many of us know, none of the anointed would have passed an inspection of the 48 teachings that are mentioned in chapter 3 of captives of a concept.. for example: according to the proclaimers book, none of the anointed woke up to jesus invisible presence beginning in 1914 until 1943 - 24 years after jesus inspection was over.

  up until 1995 the awake!

  said, this magazine builds confidence in the creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away.. .

  but beginning in november of that year it removed before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away and replaced it with that is about to replace the present wicked, lawless system of things.. .

  Why 1876 Rather Than 1879?

  why does "captives of a concept" start counting the society's pre-1919 teachings from 1876 rather than from when he first began to publish his watch tower magazine in 1879?.

  because 1876 was when russell first began proclaiming two of his most important dates: .

  (1) 1874 for the beginning of jesus' second coming or "invisible presence.".

  The Fatal Attraction of "God's Organization"

  i recently watched the 5-part documentary the fatal attraction of adolf hitler on youtube.... http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=fatal+asttraction+of+adolf+hitler&oq=fatal+asttraction+of+adolf+hitler&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_l=youtube.3...9316.17859.0.18511.33.33.0.0.0.0.234.3304.22j10j1.33.0...0.0.idl4vmbwceo.

  without even trying i could not help but notice several similarities between the fatal attraction germans had to hitler and the fatal attraction jehovahs witnesses have to their gods organization.. example:: toward the end of the documentary it explained that even when some germans finally began to realize that hitler was not the nice guy they thought he was, they still remained loyal to him because there was no one else to turn to.. who does that remind us of?.

  Proverbs 4:18 vs Matthew 24:45-47

  why is it that when former witnesses look at the society's pre-1919 teachings that were not true we conclude that they mean that the society is not god's organization, but when current witnesses look at those same teachings they conclude that they mean it is god's organization?

  what makes the difference?.

  i feel that one of the factors that makes the difference is because while ex-witnesses process those pre-1919 teachings through matthew 24:45-47, witnesses process them through proverbs 4:18.. take for example rutherford's "millions now living will never die!"...

  a while back djeggnog said to me.... "evidently you want the readers of your book to believe what jehovah's witnesses believe[d] (down till 1919) to be a matter of embracing the beliefs of these dead men (russell and rutherford).

  but jehovah's witnesses embrace[d] the teachings of jesus christ, our living lord.".

  "captives of a concept" presents 48 examples where jehovah's witnesses (bible students) did in fact embrace the beliefs of the now dead men russell and rutherford.
