i really enjoyed the dallas, texas apostofest we went to this last weekend.
it is indescrible the feeling you get when you come face to face with others just like yourself.
it was very strange to find we all had such a common bond, that was spoken even with out words.
ISP is organising the next one, and it will probably be in the Manchester area. I know that's not near you, but I'm sure a kind soul more local to you could arrange transport if necessary !

simon for a start does not exist.i thought i met simon at englishmans doo,but i was wrong it has suddenly dawnd on me that simon was not there at all, it was all done with mirrors!i noticed that some of the other guests were very 2-dimentional,i was suspicious when matty fell over in the wind ,when i picked him up and looked from the other side he was made of carboard, and englishman is scottish!.
in fact most posters on here do not exist and are generated by a master computer in manchester.i think that maybe the only poster that really exists is me!.
You're right sleepy, I don't actually exist. You did hear me talk, but that was just a tape recorder sellotaped to the back of my cardboard head. I am very glad that it didn't rain at the Barbie, I would have gone all limp and soggy!

I unfortunately know of too many examples of people that have left, had a miserable time of it and came back, but of course these are the only examples I actually got to hear about. The prodigal son illustration is used constantly to good effect by the GB. Remember that not only are you prohibited from talking to the df'd and da'd, you are also not allowed to ask after them, or enquire how they are doing from their still-in relatives, so if they are doing really well you never get to find out!
I want to be able to leave the witnesses and have a better, happier life, have better friends and a happier family of my own. I'd like to prove I can to my brainwashed family. I have met so many people here that have successfully done this, and there's no reason why I can't either!

well then she says that she is considering having an abortion...which i am totally against....so we discussed it...then she started to think that she might have the child....so she talked it over with her twin sister...and she told her to get the abortion...now she says she wants the abortion...now i am upset...not onlly does she want the abortion...but she wants me to pay for the entire thing...so not only am i going to be terminating a developing life...but i have to pay for it????

every scene or commercial on tv i see with a couple in love, even the stupid geico insurance one, i have to flip the channel off... everything, everywhere reminders of one i loved, one who broke my heart.
i met him long before i ever came to this board, so it's no one here.
When you said "i normally don't do this but..." it reminded me a little bit of how I felt yesterday as well. We have good days, and we have bad days. I really hope that all the love we're sending you helps you. The encouragement of all my friends on this board has meant a great deal to me, and really keeps me going.
