It's a great documentary despite being nearly 20 years old - the issues are just as relevant today as they were then.
Yes, members can request movies - there's no guarantees but you can always try.
In fact if all the ex-dubbies out there who are Neflix members requested particular Witness related movies/documentaries we might have a better chance with high numbers. And of course create the demand after they have been released by then renting them! And renting them again!
They won't pay much attention to just one member but if several requested it they might just add it. Let me know if you are planning anything and Spice and I would be happy to make requests.

If I was still in the UK nothing would stop me from coming, but unfortunately things have been tough financially over here and we still haven't managed to get the money or vacation time to go back to England.
When me and Carol manage to get back to the UK expect a call!
Lots of love to you and her Ladyship!

World's Worst Century?
by City Fan in.
with events in iraq seemingly going from bad to worse, and with what i see as an increasing number of end-time 'prophets' posting on this board, i thought i would bring this programme to everyone's attention.
it may put today's events into perspective compared to some of histories more turbulent times.. would anyone here rather go back and live in the 14th century?.

I'm sure this series from Channel Four will make people think. Many of the points covered look similar to the information contained in the book "The Sign of the Last Days - When?" - a book I thoroughly recommmend reading.

Good to see you over here. He's a busy guy but hopefully Simon will be able to work on making the site more cross browser compatible soon and you'll then be able to participate fully with your WebTV.

Another JW Friend Died
by Undecided init's sad to see so many of my former friends die.

When I was talking to my mum about it I was feeling confused. I couldn?t console myself with thought of the resurrection anymore. It was once easy to trot out stock JW phrases in these circumstances but now I?ve lost my faith it?s difficult to cope with the idea that I probably won?t ever be seeing them again. I?ve probably cried a lot more over this one than I?ve ever done before over a bereavement.

My deep condolences Undecided. I certainly know how you feel - I?m still reeling from losing two wonderful people I grew up with and loved greatly who were killed in a plane crash in Zambia last week.

update on Joy and Steve
by Mulan ini just talked to joy and she said to tell everyone they are fine.
they lost electricity so can't get on computers.. tornadoes came through awhile ago and killed two people, but they are doing fine, and have 5 strong young fellows, with them, to help when things get too bad later tonight.
the water is now in their yard, on the yard side of the picket fence, for those who have been there.
