Health Advise Needed.

if your sister and brother died of cancer and now your body is starting to show all the effects of the disease, would you want to know even if it might mean a death-sentence?.

my dad, sister, brother and now mom will die from this ugly disease, all of them had aggressive forms of stomach cancer, my mother's battliing it has me putting my health on the back burner because i am very obstinate and hate doctors, why should i go see a doctor if the last four people i loved all died of cancer once they got their dx?.

How many Mosques did the Christians blow up and how many innocent members got their head cut off by these Christians? The Christians in Egypt jumped in front of Protest Police to protect the non-Radical Islamic followers. I wonder how much traction this story is going to get considering we are usually "one story of cruel conduct" vs at minimum 50x the stories.

A group of Christians joined hands and faced out surrounding hundreds of Muslims protesters left vulnerable as they knelt in prayer.

What a great post you, Finkel, and other Witnesses of fame made on this topic! Remember the old old Wendy's Commericals "Where's the Beef(LOVE?)?", how often was true love displayed to our Group?

I would like to know why six proactice anti-Watchtower men have left my former Kingdom Hall, we had the Rededication and I ask myself, why do we need more hoopla for a remodel when we can act like the charitiable First Century Christians The Governing Body, if only they offered up true love, compassionate qualites along with loving concern over all the marginalized, why can't they try to pretend they are Christian?

What's the Watchtower's View of Dedicating Your Time To Charity? Food-bank, Helping Poor Get Benefits, Big Brother, ect..

do you know of anyone who sucessfully dedicated time to charity without getting bad mouthed by witness elders?

we had a sister in creepside congregation who got a lot of lip when she was working for the food bank for free.

the jehovah's witnesses elders hinted, used the watchtower study to say "jehovah's people are ambassadors to satan's world and know the real solution is god's kingdom".

LonghairedGirl, do you think it's wrong for JWs to use the Food Bank and get free food? I use to arrange for the Food Bank to pick up "Baked Goods" that were on the "expiration date" along with other items that were "expired" but good for another few months in canned good form.

We had JWs show up and get Government Cheese, the Baked Goods and other items the Community so kindly gave via some Christian Organizations donating their time and trying to locate additional food supplies. I think it's wrong for JWs to go to a Food Bank where you have Christians and other Non-JW Religons donating time and all the Jehovah's Witnesses do is show up with a empty bag to take the food. Why is it right? It's morally wrong to condemn the efforts of True followers of Christ who feel the need to feed the Poor. JWs only are good at taking advantage of Charity, Government and Social programs in full, what a bunch of low life hypocrites!

AA has a better track record of making better Citizens, the Congregation I am in "Creep Side Congregation" has plenty of men who are Gluttons and over-indulge in wine and hard liqour, what good are they to make the World a better place? I am slowly starting to despise myself for believing this lie for too long, I wasted too much time trying to get along with people who are not good, they don't care about other people, they use the Kingom Hall to Pontificate, do a lot of self backslaping for useless works Jesus Christ never asked them to do! They don't follow Jesus Christ's commandments, so why do they lie and claim they are Christian, they are trying to be 1st Century Jews 2.0. I agree they should lose their IRS Tax Status because they don't do any good for the Community, they are a Cult who try to avoid as much interaction with non-Witnesses unless they can scheme money off their Marks.

Why do Jehovah's Witnesses use the services of Doctors, Medical Professionals, Legal Experts if going to College is such a unwholesome experience, why don't the JWs act like the 4th to 1 Century BCE Jews and treat them like Gentiles? The Jews hated the Gentiles and had no dealings with men and women of the Nations, JWs need to make up their crazy mind and move to Waco Texas and live unhappily ever after!

What do DO's do when not visiting assemblies?

that's only 12 weeks they spend with a congregation.

Enjoy being treated like a Rockstar, JWs can't get enough men to worship in the same way the ancient Jews craved Idol Worship.

Looking through the Ancient Jewish Religion, you realize we have more titles than the Jews had for their rulership class! I got burned by a D.O., I have no use for men who are really don't know the Bible but Parrot the Watchtower's Theology, I would love for a DO to go up against Greg Stafford or Blondie or Billy-the-Ex, they would roast the DO back to their Thetan Retreat!

jesus made several references to the persecution and martyrdom of the prophets (mathew 23:29-37; 21:35; 22:6; 5:12; luke 6:23; 11:47) which are not found in old testament (with some exceptions like 2 chronicle 24:21), but found mostly either in jewish tradition or in apocryphal/apostate literature.

JWs can't keep up with their twenty page magazines, keeping up their education by on Organizational Writings is not on top of their list. How many JWs did you know who actually studied all their magazines and read the books? I started to lose my stomach when we kept going over the Revelation Book, I did not know our Study was based off the Inventory of the Watchtower's Warehouses and not the Spiritual Needs of the Masses.

Did you encounter many JWs you respected as powerful Christian Apologist or strong Bible Scholars? I can't say I know of more than five who knew the Bible well, they knew the Watchtower's Organizational Rules but not the Bible and Spirit of Christian Values. The majority of the Witnesses are mentally lazy and refuse to study the weekly lessons, I got sick of people placing Mags they did not read themselves, pure idiocy!

The smart JW would visit JWN to get his studying done for the Watchtower by coping Blondie's or Billy's Weekly lesson and cross out the parts they don't like because they will never encounter a studied lesson so detailed in their Kingdom Hall with lots of supporting scriptures and texts of past WT Materials.

Six years , new location , no love.

i had never thought about this that much until now.

my wife and i have been living in this community for over 6 years now , and nobody has ever called upon my wife or myself for that matter, to encourage us back to the meetings as jehovahs witnesses , who have become inactive /faded .. the same goes for my son and his wife , who live in the same area , have never been contacted with the intent of trying to re-activate them.. admittedly, only a couple of times in these past 6 years we both my son and i , have had witnesses call upon us in the normal d2d work , without acknowledging if ever they knew we were non practicising witnesses .

hard to beleive since my neice is in the local congregation , and is aware of our former congregations that we attended .. to cap it off , a few of our "freinds" who know where we are have never ever offered any encouragement or support in trying to get us back to their "truth ".

Smiddy, exactly the same sentiments are felt throughout the Western Culture, love with the JWs has never been their strongest quality. My mother attended the Kingdom Hall in West Hollywood for months before any Jehovah's Witnesses talked to her, they were not friendly at the Kingdom Hall.

When we moved up to Santa Barbara, same crap, nobody was willing to speak to any of our family for months and the kids of the "good JWs" were no longer on the "No Bully Zone", I made friends quickly in school and had no problem when my friends thrashed the JW Kids because I felt "You deny me at the Kingdom Hall, I deny you when the bullies are picking on you!'

I've been in ten Kingdom Halls and honestly, they are all the same. JWs leave for "Greener Grass (AKA friendly Congregation who cares about it's own)" often disappointed and more depressed because they don't exist. When the shit hits the fan, few JWs are going to stand up to the task of being a real part of your life. Your story echos the same accounts and real life stories we all have seen, if they were truly loving Simon and his wife probably would not have this website up. True love and deep concern for their fellow Witnesses would allow us to forget much of the suffering we endured, true love means we would not have suffered in the fake organization.

I heard of thirty years going by before a Witness called on a man who once was part of the Organization, you have 5x more years to catch up to him!

Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

most people who have lived in a cult or high control group such as the jws will experience many of the symptoms of complex post-traumatic stress disorder (c-ptsd).. complex post-traumatic stress disorder.

The New DSM manually is going to focus on how "high mind control groups" keep their membership in a constant state of anxious fear and once the members begin to feel peaceful they orchestrate a false sense that Jesus is going to destroy because they let their guard down (false Bible reasoning) or missed a meeting.

We were trying to remain sane in a group whose leaders know it's a lie but are afraid they might have to get a real job if they are exposed as hucksters, so more anxiety and pointing to fearful world events continues which is not what Jesus Christ said we must keep our eyes on!

They really believe it's better to be a nervous wreck having a heart attack on their Theocratic Treadmills than live as a Christian!
