  Curious About My Disfellowshipping.

  i recently read an interesting thread (is there a 'third' way to leave?

  ) that talked about fading instead of being df'd or da'd.

  i myself had planned to fade, but was df'd instead.

  here is my life experience: first time i left, no-one cared, no-one bothered me or came after me. BUT i was never that active.

  10 years after inactivity i rejoined, My second entry i went all out, progressed, was regular, became an MS, gave public talks, the whole bit.

  almost an elder, then just quit. I am being hounded and followed which has made me paranoid.

  I think i fixed that after a sit down with two elders sunday though. I just let them have it verbally. probly gonna get DF'd now

  Depends on your level of activity and visibility is how I see it.

  I'm going to gobble up as much crackers and booze as I can. Gonna raise the glass high in the air in "toast" fashion then chug it ALL down. I just want to be counted. Maybe we should all plan it and take video to post on YouTube. Who is with me?

  because of "religious" differences, she now wants me to move out and "separate"...i said what biblical grounds does she have for her request?.

  she couldnt respond...she said she'd rather be beaten up by me than have an "apostate" in the house.... this org definitely encourages conditional love.... i don't know what to do...by the way, we dont have children.

  i'm sure alot of you have noticed, the influx of new jwn members with "postitions within the cong" this is amazing, i myself am still an m.s.

  working to get removed.

  lol my wife (who has been really supportive throughout my fade) asked my why i am doing i decided to fade?.

  was an MS for 3-4 years, ALMOST an elder but thakful it never happened now, it was hard enough to quit as an MS.

  Over 4 months, still no response to this letter to the elders!

  hi everyone, its been over 4 months and i have not heard a response from the elders.

  i called one of them a few weeks back.

  he said they sent it to bethel and haven't heard back yet.

  I could have wrote that same letter, I am going through the earlier stages of what you have gone thru. WT is an evil, corrupt entity, and WORSE than ALL other false religions combined. The trail of false doctrines will follow them like a burning trail of gasoline from a Ford Pinto forever as long as we all have voices to point it out. Sad for you but be strong!

  Getting my first tattoo

  well on wednesday i am going to be getting my first tattoo.

  i have had this particular piece of art that i have wanted for years but was too afraid to put it to skin as it will require a great amount of detail.

  but i finally decided to go for it.

  I got my first tatoo last year....NO REGRETS......recently had a family blowout because one of my kids friends said tatoos were bad because Jahovuhs word said so I challenged her to show me where it says that and suddenly my house became a hotbed of hostility because I dared to question her on the subject. Unfortunately ALL JW 's are mind controlled the same way....sheesh!

  had a friend years ago tell a story, we were late teens, it goes like this:

  he said he was laying alone in his basement on a hideabed, was feeling frisky i guess so he said out loud:

  Satan, if you wanted to, you could make me a woman to come here and have sex with me"

  He said the picture above his head immediately began swinging back and forth, and heard a female voice gently calling his name, and felt something getting on the hideabed, he said he got spooked, got up, and as he ran upstairs he yelled, "jehovah get them out of here" and it all stopped.

  At the time it gave me shiverrs, but i have since tried the same thing, but nothing ever happened.

  The BEST way to "wake up" a JW

  we have debated this over many years and in many threads, as all of us have family and/or former friends still in.

  it seems that there is no "best" way to wake up a jw, it is as elusive as the "true" religion it seems.. but a comment made by poster "emery" on another thread stood out to me, he/she said :.

  "what i have gathered is that most witnesses seem to be in it for emotional reasons.

  I recently told my mother who has had mental issues all her life but they have escalated since my dad died last year she would get some relief if she wasn't subjected to WT mind control because they definately do use it.

  After some debate and her actually asking, "why would jehovah want to use mind control on us?" I asked her point blank, "when you got to meeting, who is doing the teaching, men or jehovah?"

  She said "jehovah"

  Then I said, "if doctrines or teachings have changed, didn't jehovah know he was teaching false doctrines?"

  I told her how insulting it must be to attribute falsehoods to almighty god.

  It got her to think, but then she said "ok' I don't want to continue with this conversation"

  I said, "I told you at the start of our conversation that you would use the "thought stopping" technique, and you just did."

  at least i made her think but she will never give it up

  we know the "bar" for pubs.

  was lowered, 15 min/month pubs are counted.

  increases in pubs are decreasing annually, 1.9% worldwide, .9% u.s. .

  i can say that i personally used to count time rather liberally. IF i got out of bed that was an automatic hour. meeting for FS was counted, no deduction for breaks, if i was in the company of someone unbaptised, i counted that time with them, (heard of elders who did this alot in the cong. got the idea from that). After awhile i just put random numbers on time slip just to stay on as an MS.

  with all the hype, i know ASS day, and DC parts are being given first to reg. pioneers, along with the drama parts and oversight so prestige hungry ones who crave the spotlight are signing up so they get dibs on these parts.

  They are even announcing pioneer status when introducing bros now (aSS day and DC parts) makes me gag
