After leaving the JW's, why would anybody seek another religion

after such a traumatic experience in the jehovah's witness religion and reasoning on all other versions of religion, why do so many just jump ship into another religion offering the world but still delivering nothing!.

Sure it is. Instead of getting poisoned, you poison yourself. Jesus never existed, you know.
God is God to everyone.
That statement doesn't even remotely make any sense.
jehovah is the god of the jews...mull that one over and smoke it.
And that of the ancient Canaanites before them. Well, some of them. Yahweh was part of a whole pantheon, after all. The Jews only became monotheistic in the late 6th century BCE.

Do you believe in an annointed class?

regarless of their identity - in fact, if they are really "discreet" their identity should probably remain unknown - do you believe the bible speaks of a spirit annointed class of folks, a limited number of humans that have been called to heaven to serve with jesus?.

Is immorality escalating?

i got the convention update from my mom, who attended this past weekend.

sounds like the society made the claim that immorality is escalating at a faster clip.

is that true?

Does that mean morals are largely subjective then? I'll never forget the interview with the Aryan Brotherhood prison gang member who said, "I've got morals, just not yours." Where's the line drawn?
Pretty much subjective, yes. There are plenty of societies that operate on way different moral standards than we do. The philosopher Sam Harris has given what I think is a good rule of thumb: "Imagine a situation worse than the worst hell you can think of. Everything is bad. Now you might be saying that there's a silver lining somewhere, but I wouldn't know what you'd be talking about. This called The Worst Possible Scenario For Everyone. Anything that moves away from that situation can be called 'right' and anything that moves towards that scenarion can be called 'wrong'.
The guy has written a book on this subject. It's called 'The Moral Landscape'. If you enjoy the subject of morality, this is probably a good book to start with.

what was your "back burner?"

when i was studying in the truth book i laid aside quite a few questions, feeling that i was learning something important, and that those "nagging questions" would be answered in due course.

most of those questions have gone unanswered because i was led along, like a stupid pig with a ring in his nose, by other pseudo-questions of, really, non-importance.

i've had problems with conforming, if that is the word, with "correct speak" in the organization, and it has been apparant to most of the people i've known over the years.

What did it for me was the argument of "We're right because God says so, and you can know God says so because we're right."
Then I studied up on evolution and dropped everything else like a sack of potatoes.

Prfrt. I stopped believing altogether. Really, going from one religion to another (be it organised or not) is just jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

Everyone who has been attempting to give evidence, has done it wrong.
It starts out with defining what a "god" is, and proving its existence. Then, perhaps, we can start talking about whose god it is, or even if it has the personality traits you say it has.

i'd suggest that the 1st century was quite a well documented time.

we have lots of historical evidence for important people who actually existed.

Jesus personally speaks (with an audible voice) to some of our members, here.
I think they need to go see a psychiatrist. Hearing voices does not sound very healthy.
Yet, this lowly Person somehow managed to change the course of history - even the calendar.
Actually Jesus didn't do shit. It was Emperor Constantine who used this weird Christian cult to gain political power. It was also a catholic Pope that signed the calendar based on Jesus' birthday into use... in the year 1582.
Whenever we write a date, we should think of that.
Perhaps, when you write down a date, you might want to think of what the gods Janus, Februus, Mars, Maiyesta and Juno have done for us. These gods must have done so much for mankind, we even based the names of about half of our months on them!

the gospel's story of jesus christ, allegedly based on true events, has spurred many different varieties of thought and action.

some have furthered his message and some have disserved it whether they believe in his divinity or not.
