before i begin, i want you to know i understand the difference between chemtrails and contrails, so lets leave those discussions behind, chemtrails exist.. what is the purpose of chemtrails ?
if it was to artificially create clouds, why come to edinburgh ?
for any of you who are unaware, 90% of the time its cloudy and rainy, so creating cloud cover, is a joke.
Just wondering if the general cynicism displayed in this thread is the result of reacting against the WT and all its teachings.
Pedal Power, you raised an interesting point, but it's a long way from observation to assuming we're all under attack.
I'd never heard of chemtrails before your post. Interesting, but a quick Google has not brought up convincing sites so far...
this has probably been addressed, but i'm in a rush and wanted to get this out asap while it's fresh and before i have to run off again.
and i don't have the km with me to note the exact instructions and passages discussed, anyway.... last week in the service meeting, there was an unusual part that i wish i would have been prepared for.
the only material was to read a couple passages from luke and discuss how they affect our attitude toward our ministry.
Hate to sound a contrary note, but I have to, to be fair.
Just from my own very limited experience, I know, locally, those who have done exactly that, chosen to live extremely simply and are pioneering.
They are gentle and wise. (Although, to balance that, I know that many will say they can't be wise because they believe and preach something that isn't true.)
there was a recent thread here which covered the subject of the gb claiming to be spirit directed (and not actually inspired by the holy spirit).
by now, most of us are quite aware that this is just a play with words to excuse themselves whenever one of their false doctrines is debunked (by someone using the bible or their own publications).
but when you think of it, spirit-directed is actually more presumptuous than spirit-inspired.. that being said, id really like to draw attention to the fact that the wt continuously claims that the governing body of jehovahs witnesses has never claimed to be inspired by god (through his holy spirit).
Wow, this stuff is priceless!
Bookmarked!
i find the board is getting very unfriendly of late.
used to be great to be aboard.
but the snipping that so many.
Mouthy, I'm fairly new here, but please don't go.
Sometimes one or two threads get a bit hairy, but mostly not, and this is a very, very useful, friendly, welcoming and helpful forum.
I honestly haven't noticed anything especially aggressive, though people who come on and make a nuisance of themselves promoting their own brand of religion get the short shrift that they seem to deserve. But that's not surprising, seeing that the people here have struggled to get free of restrictive system and aren't likely to want to climb into another.
I love the cut and thrust here, and also the warmth and empathy. I've learned a lot too.
Hope you change your mind and stay.
this thread is your chance to participate in an investigation... google is your friend..use it... .
the "bilderberg group" is a publicy known group..they don`t hide... they are the worlds "most" powerful people.. they influence your life everyday... they will influence your future... they have an agenda..and..have made a public statement about it... i will make the 1st post... of a public statement made by the "bilderberg group"... .

Thanks for bumping this, Bangalore. I've had a fascinating read through this whole thread, taking detours into Google along the way.
For a start, I'd never heard of the Georgia Guidestones till today. However, I had heard of the Bilderberg group.
My first reaction was surprise that no-one had mentioned John Twelve Hawks in this thread.
He's the author of The Traveller (OK, Traveler for all you Americans) and its two sequels. I haven't yet read the third, but leaving aside all the sci-fi elements of it (and what is sci-fi often these days other than prophecy)...leaving aside that, I have thought for a long time that he had it all exactly as life really is.
Undoubtedly the world is controlled, and famines etc manipulated, viz the unspeakable crime of agrochemical comapnies creating seeds that produce much better crops but...and here's the kick in the teeth...you can't sow any of the resulting seed next year. So all the poor subsistence farmers who used to save their seed are now in hock to a giant corporation. If that's not evil, I don't know what is.
ok everyone i am going to canada soon, vancouver to be exact, i was wondering if anyone can recommend places to go??
i love sight seeing and i want to take advantage of my time there (almost a week)... so what would u recommend?.
also i am planning a 1-2 week trip to the uk in october or maybe december, i know they are many uk posters here.... also, i want to take advantage to the max of my time there.. i want to go to those hidden treasures in the country side... maybe 1 day or 2 in london, but i want to see the wonderful uk country side... want to stop by scotland and ireland if possible... .
For the UK, assuming you'll have the time and the money to travel, first of all I'd recommend October, when a lot of Britain is at its most beautiful. Also, the weather's often glorious in October, though no guarantees.
For scenery/countryside and nature, take in the West Country, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. West Wales, north Wales and Snowdonia. The Peak District or Yorkshire moors. The Lake District.
For history. Norwich. Stratford-upon-Avon. Colchester for the castle and Roman remains, and the nearby Dedham Valley in Suffolk, home of the painter John Constable, also the Suffolk coast around Orford and Aldeburgh. Stonehenge, of course, and Salisbury. Further north, York for everything, Durham for castle and cathedral, Hadrian's wall....
You can't go wrong, all of Britain is beautiful!
seriously, half day in (already had an argument with the wife this morning about individuality in the organization in which she conceded that a lot of it is based on looks) and this is already getting on my nerves.
i'll post a rebuttal based on my annotations later in the week but one thing i got to get off my mind: saying the feminist movement (women going to work instead of staying home) and the diversity laws (allowing for homosexuality - but also religious freedom, racial discrimination etc.
) caused a lot of the problems in our world right from the stage.. there are less people here than last year - about 500 less..
In revival, people are swept into the kingdom in large numbers without months of indoctrination (Pentecost all over again).
Or, to put it another way, no teaching, they don't need to think, they can just give in to mass hysteria.
i know it's a complicated topic, and i've spent gobs and gobs of hours studying it and realizing that 586/587 is the most likely date.
so anyway, here's my question:.
how could jerusalem's fall be 587 but still be in line with the scriptures about 70 years of desolation that the wto uses to push 607 so strongly?

i am in the process of getting a small business/hobby going and am almost finished.
intially from startup i included an inlaw in the process and needless to say things have been "rocky".
i have pretty much funded this entire thing, spent untold hours coding, getting artistic renditions for logos, working with suppliers, contracting out work, etc.
You don't give us any details of who the in-law is, but I'm wondering if maybe they're feeling a bit overwhelmed by it. Perhaps it seemed to be something they could do easily but then they found they were floundering, and so what looks like negligence mighty actually be that they'd bitten off more than they could chew. Just perhaps.
It sounds as though the financial side has been all your input. Maybe the best approach would be to get together in a friendly family way, and first say whatever nice things are true over such work that they have done. Then ask them how they feel or something...you'll have to judge it according to all the things you know and we don't.
Give them a bit of perspective and explain that you really need A and B done by now. But at the end of the day, if the money input has been all yours, and if the basic idea and most of the organisation has been yours, then you have to make the decision for the sake of the business. Of course, the more input they have already had the more you have to oil the wheels.
As to documenting, well, that's essential, and if they haven't done that and kept proper records then that too is an indicator.
If there's a hard decision to be made, and if it is inevitable, then the sooner the better for the least damage.
