Racism on the forum / Treyvon Martin

i've just been catching up on some of the posts that people made about this case and i am appalled at the blatant racism demonstrated by certain individuals.. yes, you are entitlted to your opinion ... but at some point your opinion needs to be kept locked inside your ignorant biggoted empty skull and not come out of your stupid fat mouth.

it especially shouldn't be posted on my forum.. such racism will not be tollerated here.. i also would like to publicly apologise to outlaw for not being on top of this earlier and making sure that he wasn't lumped in with these despicable people for simply pointing out how out-of-line their behavior was.

sorry my friend - you did not deserve that and i understand completely why you have had a break from the site..

it is, however, completely shot through with discrepancies and weak arguments.

all of these can be used to build a solid defence.

EVERYONE IS AGNOSTIC

since we are born in ignorance, it's the starting point for each of our journeys even if many move away from it.

some return while others never do though even these remain 'agnostic' towards leprechauns and such.

eventually we end up in the same state of ambivalence and uncertainty as when we began.. the journey is what makes a life and if yours contains a positive or negative belief in anything that's fine - so long as it causes no harm.

Nope. never been agnostic. Theist through and through...but refusing to be tied down to doctrine.

As for before I was born, cantleave...well...there is a school of metaphysical thought that strongly supports pre-existence, and I quite like that...not saying I believe in it, but I do like it, and I don't like to preclude the possibility.

So, if the premise is "we are all agnostic," I am reserving the right to still be the exception that proves the rule.

Except that I refute both premise and rule.

Associate Bible Students, Dawn Bible Students and Christadelphians Beliefs...

from what i've researched these religions seem to believe almost everything the jws do, with very minor differences.

i'm curious if anyone here is part of one of these religions or knows a place that i can go to find out all their beliefs to see every difference?.

Do the Witnesses belief that Jesus pre=existed? Michael is not Jesus. People told me his impersonal life energy was transfered to Jesus. Where did Michael go? Was he hibernating? Why could not God, the creator of all, create a new entity. Very strange.

But, for goodness sake, how can anyone actually know the details of Michael, Jesus, or anything? People can believe. I do not see how anyone can say categorically that X is so and Y may be so but Z is absolutely not true. Not in the same way that we can prove that water is wet or that when you're really hungry fish and chips'll hit the spot.

Just my view.

acceptable for congregation meetings to clothe with necktie ascot?.

Yes, BluesBrother, I thought it was a cravat at first glance. Popular in the sixties as smart casual wear.

But then I Googled Ascot necties and think they may be subtly different.

If New Light is all right, can't men's neckwear evolve....or should I say adapt?
