i blew up and dumped my girlfriend on monday over a silly little thing.
it's been happening in pretty much every relationship i get involved in.
it never happened before my marriage.. during my marriage, i was alone almost all the time.

i have been having pain in my left hip for around 4 years.
got worse this winter.
hurts at night, after walking and periods of inactivity.
With the hip, we usually find 1 of 4 things, osteo/rheumatoid arthritis, trochanteric bursitis or trauma.
Sounds like rheumatoid more than osteo to me (pain after inactivity)....but osteo is more common.
Do you get joint stiffness and pain in the morning, that improves after an hour? That is a history of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Get doctor to check ESR levels and RF levels. Harder to see on xray, as it connective tissue synovial damage not bone, but a skilled radiologist will see it.
It is usually a spot diagnosis, i.e. Visible signs as the patient sits in front of you talking.
Usually symmetrical on the body sides (both hips sore?) and if in the hands (usually is) does NOT affect the last joint in the fingers (distal interphalangeal's = Nearest your finger nails)
Are your knuckles more swollen and tender, redder, than usual? Clench your fists and see if the 'valleys" between your knuckles are deeper than usual?
Any lumps or bumps as you slide your hands down the underside of your forearm ....from your elbow to your wrist? (Rheumatoid nodules)
Alternatively is could be early osteoarthritis.. if in the hands, the last joint in your fingers ARE involved. usually large (non tender) swellings on the finger joints, usually symmetrical to both sides, more obvious on xray, just wear and tear everyone gets it, usually hips and knees and hands affected. if you lie down on your back, both legs out straight, lift your left knee up to your chest.....keeping your knee still move your foot outwards off the bed, this internal rotation causes pain with osteoarthritis>rheumatoid.
...or it could be the trochanteric bursitis (inflammation of the surrounding hip joint sheath), usually very sore, hot pain, one side of the body, doesnt usually last 4 years......the trouser hem that goes down your outer thigh, press about 4 inches down that line from your hip, if it is very tender, this is indicated. (Check a good 4 inches above and below to be sure you dont miss it).

Hope it helps a little.
(Completed all my medical exams, qualify in summer, so still a trainee doctor)
well my ps3 is downstairs because i had no idea how good games looked on tvs that weren't older than you are and i've run into a problem.
my mum doesn't know that i have "bad" games like cod, gta 5, legend of zelda and final fantasy (yeah ik last two aren't that bad but loads of religious stuff and magic) and it's getting harder to keep it a secret.. i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how i should go about this.
should i just wait a while and slowly introduce the idea to my mum that i play these games or should i just come out and play them and act like it'a nothing?.
Of course.... I'm a coupe, of hours a week guy.... Iv hardly completed a game in 30 years and get bored after 20 mins of pkaying, but enjoy it, if you...enjoy it!
last night, me and my wife were watching some the simpsons episodes.
we both laugh and enjoy that serie.
but just in this one, my wife face was serious and even uncomfortable.
I remember the epidode making me scared, there is a scene when they almost get away but stay for family. I forgot all about seeing this episode, but having seen that image I remember it and I remember it bothered me a lot. I was well aware it looked like our life.
I am actually suprised at how far back that was, I must have been more uncomfortable with the JW's than I realise.

"play less video games"
As a 33 year old doctor who loves to chill out with a bit of Far Cry, GTA, Tropico, Battlefield or Forza.... PLAY ON !
It is good for your brain, good for your motor skills and great for your team work development :D
Just be sure to get the minimum daily dose of Vitamin D !

P.s. Everyone games today be it on their Iphone or in their home. It is officially bigger than the movie industry now. If you don't game, go get started, you are missing out!
Also... Virtual Reality has just arrived.......
a lot of people felt that the usa's reputation was terrible, especially under president bush.
then obama became president and we heard how the rest of the world felt that finally they had a person that would respect them and their views and work with them!
the new president even ot a nobel peace prize because of the world's perception.. what's your view of america?
Hope to visit NY in December.
I love the defence for principles founded in freedom, despite recent sidetracks, and the history of the country is so exciting. Good V's Evil and the fight to be who you want to be.
I am glad a secular element is devloping once more, the founding fathers made clear the seperation of church and state. I hope to see further release of the state from the neocons and lost liberals that hold onto draconian religious symbolism. America is all about freedom, including the right to worship or not... and for that I am very envious. Envious of the romantic history of the people that made it happen.
One thing I am sad to see held so dear to american hearts is rejection of a health care system. It is just so silly. The video I posted on the thread about the deaf woman who can now hear again following cochlear implants..... all free. The only cost being the taxi to the hospital! American's need to come to the uk and europe and see free health care. It is far from perfect, but it is by FAR the best solution.

Ha ha,,,,,, the age old problem of playing games downstairs as a JW.
Option one, save up and buy a tv/monitor. They are a decnt price now. Or...... I have a cheap projector (cheaper than tv) and even though it is only 800x800 it runs a 720p widescreen and it is fantastic. I have a 42 inchHD Sony TV in the next room and I prefer the projector. Great for Netflix too!
OPtion 2, despite the oculus rift and SonyVR being a long way off, you can buy tv headsets for consoles, though in honesty I don't know about res or price.
Option 3, man up and just admit you play cod (buy an xbox like a real man so then I can kick yr ass on MP)
Option 4, be quick at pressing alt and tab (my Half Life as a JW favourite), or on a console 'reset'.

Use it then...... start by researching the history of the concept of god.
Whilst you do that, I shall watch this video a few more times and continue to quash the probable virus induced ...lump in my throat... and those pesky, delayed onion peeling tears from that steak I had last week.

God must be very angry today, congenital diseases designed as a punishent for Eve's actions... are being reversed, without him, without the human sacrifice and without prostrating yourself in worship at his feet in the hope he one day forgive's us for someone else's mistake.
What a barbaric shameful waist of 4,000 years. It''s time to reach our potential.
