  There Is No Atheist In Practice!

  1) in conscious level, everyone agrees with the principle of cause and effect that says a cause precedes every effect, and every effect is the cause for another effect/s.

  in subconscious level, everyone knows that if there is a cause for everything, then there a cause (or a designer) for the principle of causation also.

  and this cause is more real than the principle of causation itself, just like source is more real than the resources!.

  Just watched a documentary that made me yearn for the JWs again

  well, almost.

  i just watched the documentary "dirty wars" on netflix and it left me so emotionally overwhelmed that i watched it a second time back-to-back.

  it's unreal how cynical this left me feeling about obama and the us government's global war on terror, it's so bleak that i almost wished for the simple life of being a jw with the naive promise of big daddy jehovah coming to sweep away all the wickedness at armageddon.. watch this movie!.

  Watchtower owned a company that made silent diesel engines for drones..... It was called RANDCAM and sponsored by the US Navy from esrly designs. I left the JW's because of it, if you write to bethel they confirm, via letter, via your body of elders. But the US security exchange commision confirms their majority ownership at the time anyway. They got rid of the shares when we all complained.

  Still pine for them?

  Being 'institutionsl investors' in the worlds hedge funds, Watchtower money will be all over the military industrial complex.

  Then there is Rutherfords appeal to Hitler, denouncing American jews and voicing god's approval for,germany and its government,

  Ignoring all of this.... how does global destruction of all humans by gods hand negate the brutalities of nature as seen in all animals and man?

  Sorry for being so matter of fact, but rose tinted glasses is how they get you. Watchtower doesn't even offer utopia, there were so many layers of indoctrination, it just felt like it did.

  Maybe reading on the progress of man will help, look at the child mortality rates, average life expectancy, quality of health, quality of life, throughout history. Drone strikes in Pakistan may be awful to see, but worse than moses marching in to a city and slicing open the bellies of preganant women as commanded by god? Though I don't believe in the bible, such things happened, mans history is full of tribal, teritorrial warfare, just as all animals.

  Things are getting better, humans have never been so united in seeking peace, equality and the right to freedoms.

  You wont find a better year to be alive than 2013.

  Sincerely, I am ashamed that you are clearly doing more than I in that regard and I need to do more. I hope you do not take any religious affiliation to the table when assisting them, but that is just my ethical stance.

  My point was about trolling, if you are not trolling it is not relevant. As it appears, you are here advertising a movement, which is trolling of a sort, an extra layer of deceit.

  This forum is well stocked with informed people, good people. Thanks to everyones research and hard work, we are becoming quite the hub for those seeking signposts for evidence in regard to the sciences and faiths, we are not a forum of wise men or scholars, but this will not be easy picking for those seeking to recruit with pseudoscience. We have heard all these cheap 'adverts' before.... You forget we used to use them as JW's too...

  Try the ex-mormons forum, they seem less informed on the sciences... But they are super sweet people, so be nice!

  go to jw.org right now friends and you will see a young male jw witnessing in a rural setting with publication in hand and - take careful note - wearing a crisply-white open-neck shirt.

  bring out the carnival, light the lights: the organ ization is kicking itself into an ongoing casualization of its rank and file.. in the 1960s through 1980s i know brothers who dared to attire themselves sans ties who were reprimanded or worse.

  Thats the picture I saw smiddy, safari shorts & shirt, i remember laughing at the irony of knee high socks. It would have been a 1993ish article, sure it was a WT study article, couple of Aussies preaching in a boat harbour.

  Isn't it insane that the control is that tight, that the clothing used in literature is used as a means to dictate what can and can't be worn!

  How often did you entertain the "Traveling Overseers", and did you regret it afterwards?

  i found taking the traveling overseers out for a meal, to be a waste of time.

  our literature regulary spoke of the upbuilding talk the local congregations received by entertaining our brothers.

  now some of the modern cos look at their telecommunication devices, talk of things not related to our ministry or phone it in.
