the society is now buying a "brown feld site" (the old gas works next to bittacy hill) for a reduced rate and a huge government grant as the land needs to be cleaned before build.
they are selling some of the prime land at bethel they own for housing (planning permission has already been obtained).. they are using part of the site of the french bethel for storage of magazines (thereby circumventing the new tax laws) and are selling the rest of the site off.. more news as soon as i get it.

Oregon authorities issued warrants Friday against former Ypsilanti resident Christian Longo on four counts of murder in connection with the deaths of his wife and three children.Lincoln County District Attorney Bernice Barnett announced Friday that autopsy results led to the conclusion that Mary Jane Longo, 35, and her 2-year-old daughter Madison Longo were victims of "homicidal violence." Their bodies were found in an ocean bay Thursday.
The couple's two other children, Zachary and Sadie, 5 and 3, were found dead in a nearby inlet last week. The Oregon Medical Examiner's Office had already ruled their deaths as homicides.
Still missing in the increasingly deadly puzzle is husband and father Christian Longo, 27.
Until Friday, he had been sought by authorities only as a witness. He was last seen in the San Francisco area Dec. 26, Barnett said.
The Longos moved to the coastal city of Newport from Ypsilanti about three months ago, police said.
Because Longo is believed to have crossed state lines, the Federal Bureau of Investigation also has obtained a federal fugitive warrant. An FBI statement said Longo should be considered an escape risk and armed and dangerous.
The Longos were associated with an Ypsilanti-based group of Jehovah's Witnesses while they lived in town with their three children, said congregant Howard Seitz.
But Christian Longo was "put out" about a year ago, Seitz said.
"Anyone that doesn't do what the scriptures tell us can be put out," Seitz said, adding that Longo was asked to leave the organization because of mounting legal troubles.
Longo, for whom a national law enforcement alert has now been issued, was wanted in Washtenaw County for a larceny and a probation violation. He was also more than $60,000 in debt, half of which is due to Wexford Homes in restitution for checks he allegedly forged, according to records and Wexford owners.
Longo incorporated a construction cleanup business in February 2000 with partner Joel E. Foster after he had worked for a fireplace and spa installation business. He did good work, said Bill Collins, co-owner of Wexford.
"I had him personally put a fireplace in my house," Collins said.
Longo's business, Final Touch Construction Cleaning Inc., seemed to grow fast. Longo began to talk of contracts in other towns and states, Collins said. But then Wexford's accounting department noticed different colored checks with forged signatures made out to the company.
In about four weeks, some $30,000 worth of checks for services never rendered showed up on the books. Then, said Collins, Longo stopped showing up.
Longo was eventually ordered to pay restitution, but Collins said they haven't received it.
Five creditors also have filed civil suits against Longo. And two small-claims suits against Final Touch were filed; one was disposed of in March, the other in July 2000.
Longo and his family lived on Eileen Street in Ypsilanti's West Willow neighborhood until last spring, when they moved to Toledo and then Oregon. Why the family moved to Oregon remains unclear.
The family's van, reported stolen in Ohio almost two years ago, was abandoned at an Oregon car dealership Dec. 19. A green Dodge Durango was stolen from the dealership that same day. Police said that is also the day they believe Zachary and Sadie were killed.
The deaths have jolted people in the small cities where the bodies were found. Neighbors said Christian Longo lived alone in a condominium near the Embarcadero Resort in Newport, though they said he was visited by his children and wife.
"It's just such a tragic, tragic thing," said a former neighbor and Ypsilanti resident. "Those innocent little babies. We would get a charge out of watching them play."

I think one offensive post diserves another. For a person to come on the board and call everyone lost needs to see the other side of the coin. One side is just as fanatical and stupid as the other side, yet both help you to see the different perspectives people can have.

If we compare other symbolism between Christ, blood and vampires, we notice further similarities.
Just as Jesus has been associated with a winged creature (dove); likewise, vampires are associated with a winged creature (bat).

From 1215, the church taught that Jesus could transubstantiate himself into communion bread or wine.
Likewise, early tradition related that vampires could transform or shapeshift themselves at will.
Dracula, in Romanian, means "son of the devil"; Jesus in the New Testament was accused of "having a devil" (John 7:20; 10:20).
Jesus has been called "Lord both of the dead and living" (Romans 14:9) and the "King Eternal" (1 Timothy 1:17).
Likewise, Dracula has been called "Lord of the Undead" and the "Immortal Prince".
Jesus is said to "come as a thief in the night" (2 Peter 3:10); likewise Dracula and other vampires appear like thieves in the night.

Yet the gospels report quite clearly where Mary Magdalene touched Jesus when he was anointed.
Luke 7:37-38 and John 12:3 claim Jesus was anointed on the feet, yet Matthew 26:7 and Mark 14:3 report he was anointed on the head.
Why should the gospels report where Mary touched Jesus yet neglect to report where Jesus touched the kids ..?
This may explain why the gospels report that children were made to "suffer" to go to Jesus. (Luke 18:15)
What exactly does this mean?
A clue may be found in the passage describing how locals chased Jesus in an attempt to throw him off a hill. (Luke 4:29)
Who were these locals and why were they angry? Were they the parents of the children whom Jesus "touched" ..?

Bear in mind that many locals including church officials believed Jesus and his apostles performed the Devil's work.
Matthew 12:24 and Mark 3:22 says the Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out spirits "by Beelzebub the prince of the devils."
It was alleged in Luke 11:15 that Jesus cast out demons "through the chief of the devils," while John 7:20 claims Jesus was accused of "having a devil."
Jesus preached hate for in Luke 14:26 he says, "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and even his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."
Jesus also preached war for he says in Matthew 10:34, "I came not to send peace, but a sword," while in Luke 12:49 he says, "I am come to send fire on the earth."
Most damning of all is John's claim in Revelation 22:16 that Jesus called himself "the bright and morning star" - a name traditionally reserved for Lucifer or Satan ...

If Jesus really was the head of a pedophile ring consisting of his twelve apostles then Judas should be thanked for betraying him.
Instead of condemned ...
One could assume that, after being threatened by the locals, Jesus went into hiding from fear of being lynched.
Frustrated, the angry parents reported the matter to the authorities, who immediately launched an inquiry.
No doubt the Pharisees, good King Herod and Pontius Pilate - perhaps the real heroes of the gospels - were eager to prevent civil unrest by bringing the ringleader in for questioning.
But Jesus evidently resisted arrest and hindered investigations by going into hiding.
This made matters worse for Jesus, since the authorities only become more suspicious and the locals more angry that an agent of Beelzebub was permitted to roam free in their midst.
Earlier, authorities received reports Jesus may have been gay since those who saw him said he spent most of his time in the company of twelve men in long white dresses proclaiming:
"It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35)
However, Luke 4:8 suggests Jesus liked to "receive" every now and then since he told Peter to "get thee in my behind, Satan."
Or something like that ...

But back to our story ...
It appears from the gospels that Judas, or Saint Judas according to Arnoume, was the only member of Jesus' pedophile ring who had a conscience.
Given Jesus' reputation thus far, it could be argued Judas did the right thing in betraying Jesus to the authorities.
But it appears Caiaphas, Annas and Pilate were too lenient on the group - either that, or the apostles were too slippery.
Look how Peter denied Jesus three times and slithered off into the shadows in order to avoid arrest. (Matthew 26:69-75)
In Matthew 10:33, Jesus says quite clearly that "whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."
Does this mean Peter is not in Heaven minding the Pearly Gates as tradition suggests - or is Peter's denial yet another biblical contradiction ..?
Nevertheless, the ringleader was crucified - much to the joy of the kids and the relief of the parents - and Pilate washed his hands of the sordid affair.
Christianity became history's first religion whose followers worship a lawfully-convicted felon.
And, like any criminal organisation, its followers have been proclaiming its leader's innocence - or that Jesus was framed - ever since ...
