the following is a letter that was sent to disfellowshipped children by way of an attorney.
the attorney was secured by the elderly parents who are witnesses and recently signed over a sizable estate to watchtower at their death.
do you think this is part of the legal department tactics to prevent the parents from making contact with the children and thus causing the estate to be contested?

jehovah's witness man shunned after consenting to daughter's blood transfusion.
More proof of the Society's deception and lies
They attempt to FORCE compliance with their fraudulent
blood policy on Witnesses. It is not voluntary.

Years ago, when my mom was alive, she was very active
in the door to door work. She always had bible studies.
But she started noticing a change in the kind of people
being studied with. There were fewer middle class
intact families - and more 'damaged' people, often on welfare.
As she bluntly pointed out, fewer 'quality' people, capable
of standing on their own and more people with long term
problems - who were likely to remain dependent on others, emotionally
or otherwise.
Blunt as she was, she didn't want to call them 'losers'!
And so here we are,
Most (east coast) congregations I'm familiar with
are loaded with weak, childlike people who have little
ability to think or reason in confronting the practical
demands of life. Such as:
Young married teenagers with no career skills or emotional maturity
Older married Witnesses with 'I got my green card, so long sucker'
mates ("I met a nice sister in Russia/South America/East Europe")
Brothers working three part time jobs (no college, etc)
People with chronic emotional problems who evangelize out of the
mainstream remedies ("You have multiple personalities/ are
are allergic to everything/ were abused by Satanists....")
Depressed old timers who would never admit, out loud, that they've
been screwed
Burdened, tired, broke single moms - who will have their kids
disfellowshipped, just as soon as the elders get around to it.
Get rich quick Amway/Pyramid schemers
Burned out elders, faking it, too cowardly to quit
Teenagers, rebelling against all of it, but so lacking in
practical life skills, that the organization will shadow
them for life.
and countless bad marriages.
Too bad for the Society,
Their goal is control, to keep people away from thinking skills
and the above is the fruitage
Good God!, They'd be better off watching Oprah! (shudder!)

well i'm off of work for the weekend.
i hope everyone enjoys their time off (if not working this weekend).
enjoy time with the family.
If you can only have a relationship with God thru
an organization, then all that "one mediator between God and
man" stuff (Jesus) is bull $hit.

at west end, brisbane, queensland, australia, a mad muslim man has been arguing with a christian pastor in the streets over the pastors preaching.
yesterday was too much for him....the muslim went up to him after much pleading from friends not to do so, and set fire to the pastor.
his reason?
Horrible as these things are (and they are!),
we need some historical perspective.
In the Roman empire, when Paul wrote about a lack of
natural affection, it was common for parents to abandon unwanted
children. Surplus babies were dumped on garbage heaps and the
Greek-Roman citizens thought it was acceptable. Christians
objected to hearing dying babies crying in dumps and rescued
them. In at least a few cases, the adopted kids were given
odd names related to the manure/garbage piles where they came from!
Also, Romans did not think of sex with kids as "child molesting"
They also practised genocide (wiping out whole tribes) and
sometimes worked slaves to death. Human rights and Social
Security didn't exist. Roman rulers drank water and juices
out of lead vessels - creating insanity thru poisoning.
(we get the word plumbing from the Latin plumbum. I believe)
So, in the Western world at least, things are a lot better
than when the Bible was written.
and we have indoor toilets, too

this is the season, when due to the nearness of the .
memorial, you'll see the society publish nice pictures.
of jesus.... as if he was someone they felt close to.. the bible repeatedly speaks of 1st century believers.
Complete BS, violet
You don't even bother to answer my objections. Why should
you? - the Society doesn't care either - it's all about power
and control.
I was an elder for many years and taught their nonsense despite
my private misgivings with their twisting of scriptures.
Does the ransom apply to all JW's ? yes or no?
Is Christ their mediator, personally? yes or no?
The Watchtower leadership is nothing but a bunch of hijackers,
imposing themselves as MEDIATORS between God and man.

Memorial, you'll see the Society publish nice pictures
of Jesus...
as if he was someone they felt close to.
The Bible repeatedly speaks of 1st century believers
as being "in Christ" or as Col. 1:27 says "which is Christ in
you". These personal statements of warmth and community
are too much for the Watchtower's love of emotional
distance - you're just in "union with Christ."
How technical. Nice to know you agree with Jesus.
But the Watchtower avoids these plain translations for
a bigger reason - it's greed for control. Only "they",
the special few, can have such a close relationship with
God or Jesus - only they are the "faithful and discreet
slave" - are all other (6 million minus 8000?)Witnesses unfaithful
and foolish in the Bible's view?
And so we come to the Society's yearly perversion of Christ's
Evening Meal. Does anyone really think Jesus envisioned
this travesty of passing embelms 'round and round with
everyone rejecting them?
Just another sad example of an organization too stupid
to distinguish between symbol and reality. (like life,
which is symbolized by blood, which is more important
than life!).
If ordinary Witnesses have any hope of salvation
by the ransom sacrifice, then why is using the SYMBOLS
of that salvation wrong?
Jesus said "He that feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood
has everlasting life and I will resurrect him on the last
day." John 6:54. The resurrection "on the last day"
was the ordinary phrase Jews used for the GENERAL resurrection.
(like John 11: 24). It applied broadly to all individuals
considered righteous - like the patriarchs, etc.
But they can't change, no matter what Jesus said or intended.
These tired, twisted old men won't let go.
Power and control is the whole game for them.
and so Christ
and his charity
and his compassion
and his personal example
are safely kept at arm's length

i get sick and tired of hearing the watchtower lie that they.
have no 'clergy- laity' distinction.. the hypocrisy in this is almost incredible.
the society wants.
I get sick and tired of hearing the Watchtower lie that they
have no 'clergy- laity' distinction.
The hypocrisy in this is almost incredible. The Society wants
the judicial system to classify elders as CLERGYMEN. They want
legal, clerical privileges to be given to elders so they can't
be compelled to testify against child molesters in congregations.
I am also informed that they have accepted a clergy classification
in disputes involving Kingdom Hall ownership.
Bethelites, have at times, sought personal discounts in the world
- offered to members of the clergy.
Do they have paid clergy? Yes!
Circuit Overseers have health insurance and auto insurance
paid for by the circuit. They have a car - paid for by the circuit.
Their expenses, in visiting congregations, are paid for within
their circuits - and they may get a stipend from the Society
as well.
As for distinctions within the congregation, when are ordinary
brothers - or SISTERS - ever invited into meetings of the body
of elders? Aren't they all considered confidential in general?
When have you ever been allowed to read the 'Theocratic Talmud'
that each secretary is required to keep - of confidential
letters to bodies of elders?
Want to go further into questions of why Sister Poor n'Nohusband's
kids are made an example of - by df'ing, while Brother Elder's
kids get away with everything? Need I go on?
it's easier for them to lie,
than to act truthfully

no, it's not about jws.
the catholics are still tops when it comes to this digusting practice.
by the way, about two years ago i was in a congregation where a molester, former elder, was publicly reproved and turned over to the police.
Am I to understand that some people think that child molestation
is not to be thought of as a df'ing offense in the Bible?
Ever heard of 'loose conduct'? It has been defined as wanton,
shameful, or scandalous behavior. It would involve conduct that
is condemned or considered repellent in common society.
Is anyone so twisted in their sick loyalty to this cult that
they would agree that "streaking" naked IS loose conduct
but molesting a child isn't ?

it's pretty much assured that stratton will lose in court.
but the decision handed down may have the effect of strongly.
defining how the door to door work can be legally limited.. it may emphasize that 'do not calls' are on solid legal ground.
First, as to 'time and inclination', the Supreme Court may feel
compelled to offer some reasonable alternative that forms part of
their collective reply, in regard to keeping undesirables away
from the publics doors. They may feel they have to clarify
what towns can and can't legislate on the topic. They may also
comment on the issue of demanding id's.
As to paper work and fines, it's not that hard. A secretary
receives the replies and types up a list. They stick it in a
file and if the police get a call, they check the list.
They might also ask householders to get license numbers.
The list could be renewed each year and 'my word against yours'
situations are no different from any other misdemeanor that
police handle every day. If they get caught lying, put them
in jail and increase the fine - and call the local media.
("Witness Solicitors Caught Lying")
It's not that hard - and you can make it easier by informing
local fundamentalists of the law. I wouldn't be surprized if
they took photos for the police.
