for many ex-jehovahs witnesses there is a disconnection between what we wish we could be doing in terms of making pronounced change in the ideological structure of the watch tower society or the dissolution of it, and what we actually find ourselves doing.
at some level we sense there are incredible potentials just waiting to be realized in the collective struggle to bring down the tower not just because it is fundamentally wrong and harmful to millions of lives but also for the changes it will make in our lives.
over the years though, i think a lot of us kind of feel that we are stumbling around in the dark trying one thing or another without anything serving as catalyst that starts an energetic chain reaction.. in a way, it reminds me of a phenomenon i learned back in my college days about termites.
Take out their printing facilities! LOL!

well, a post on the good ol days got me thinking about the vehicles people drive and why.
in the jws, a vehicle had to be appropriate for service, four doors, holding at least five.
i remember back in 1978 i bought an mgb and the brothers had a fit (hehe), i was selfish, etc.,.
We have a '95 Jeep Cherokee Laredo - the 6-cylinder, not the 8. Very reliable and we can haul stuff in it, too.

i know that many of you are trying to put the attack of september 11 behind you.
many us who still have memories about this tragedy that will go away easily.
i told patriot that i'll call him back because my sister was inside the building right next to it (tower two).

Welcome back - SO sorry for your loss. My office is about 5 blocks away from the former WTC (26 Broadway), & I was just getting off of the subway at Wall Street & Broadway that morning when the second plane hit.
All good thoughts & vibes to you as you recover. Maybe we can quaff a few beers somtime!
