I can't believe I am sitting here in front of my tv crying. I know I am a sissy but this hits home for me.

LILACS: Don't feel bad - you weren't the only one with tears in their eyes while watching Dateline! Whle not a victim myself, I was close to some who were (including one neice & 2 nephews), and am familiar with the type of coverup & secrecy surrounding pedophiles and their victims. The story was done with no Fox News-type sensationalism, just a straight report with clear FACTS, presented very well by the reporter.

I`m Inactive

i have heard many people say that they are "inactive"!

if a catholic or protestant aren`t going to church or only go on religious holidays they still consider themselves part of that faith.

so if you call yourself inactive are you still a jehovahs witness?

To add to Michael3000 you also have to go to a coffee shop once a week and hide your Watchtowers so knowbody steals them!

DATELINE - WHY THE CONFUSION ?

people are posting tuesday may 28 / 7pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm as start times on the east coast.

why is this being done when the dateline website shows 10 pm.

The NBA Division Championships are on NBC.

On May 28, ON THE EAST COAST, Dateline WILL air from 8:00pm to 9:00pm (eastern standard time). At 9:00, it's the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Sacramento Kings.

Dateline Tuesday USUALLY comes on at 10:00 pm (EST), but got switched due to the basketball game.

That is all.

god almighty is just that, all mighty.. he knows the end from the beginning because he planned and executed the beginning all the way through to the end.. and 9-11-2001 was only the beginning.. god almighty is not what you pretend him to be: sugar and spice and everything nice.. we are all, satan inclusive, very tiny, naive and foolish children.

Yeah - to be considered an "acitve" Dub, you have to at least put in yer 15 minutes, plus be up on all the latest JW mythology they like to call "being a part of Jehovah's organization". Blech!

They don't put too much value on having a personal relationship with the Creator of your choice - it's their way or the highway!

So, the point of your post is to show that there was a precedent set in the past for Dubs to feel OK about lying?
