before i dive into the actual write-up of this experience, let me put some things straight.. i have thought long and hard if i should write more about my experiences during the 10+ years at different branches.

during these years i worked from financial department, service department, home office and different it assignments.

as you can imagine one sees and hears and reads a lot of stuff going through different stations in different countries.

Thank you for your courage in sharing your stories. You have helped many by sharing what really goes behind closed doors.

We have been brainwashed into believing that the GB, branch comittees, traveling overseers are miraculously guided by Holy Spirit and we are forced to eat their crap. This has caused much suffering due to the fact the those with honest sincere hearts live with guilt as they are forced to go along with all the politics and spiritual abuse and worship of imperfect power hungry men.

Please keep sharing your stories.

When I was in bethel (mid 90's) I asked many questions about how or who comes up with new doctrines policies and what goes on in the service department. All I got was an answer saying that it's the holy spirit and shut up. Keeping people in ignorance is how they can keep their power.

The WT is extremely secretive of the dealings of the service department. All are just told to believe that everything is guided by Holy Spirit and many live in guilt as they see corruption, hypocrisy & politics. If anyone speaks up they are labelled an apostate deserving of death for rebelling against Jehovah.

Just another false prophecy from the Gb...No big deal just add that date to:

If God really guided the WT Corporation, would he allow them to prophecy falsely in his name? Why didn't God intervene and tell the GB to stop prophecying falsely? Why didn't God send an angel and stop the printing presses from printing lies in his name? Yet the rank & file are forced to believe and teach that God directs the GB.

Most mexican JW's actually think that it was the government that prohibited the JW's from using the bible, praying and singing. Most if not all cried of joy and thanked Jah when the "ban" was lifted.

What these poor brothers don't know is that it was the GB who chose to be registered as a cultural educational society in order to keep their buildings and other assets from the hands of the government. The GB is willing to sacrifice prayer, singing and using the bible in service when their financial interest are at sake.

Where's the trust in God?

Don't they tell JW's not to sacrifice spiritual matters to obtain material assets?

Another case of deceit from the humble GB of the WT corporation.

Witnesses going rogue - trying to blend in with the world

it's been a couple of years now since i left the pink-pony-world of the watchtower real estate & money laundering inc.. out of curiosity i researched a couple of "brothers" to see if they are still in, what they are up these days, etc.

using linkedin, facebook, and other online research i come up with this:.

1. branch committee member lothar mihank (formerly in nicaragua, now branch committee in indonesia) presents himself in linkedin as "ceo of ssyi" and tries to pass the borg as some kind of corporation (which is what they are).

I'm surprised that you recognize that these facts posted are disappointing. It's sad but true. These people realize that it's foolish to identify themselves as a full time minister for a corporation that has appointed itself above Christ & the Bible not to mention the false prophecies and tons of double standards and ridiculous demands of it's members.

The WT is full of hypocrisy and lies when it comes to their dealings with the business world and they will hide their true identity and intentions. Case in point, when they purchased several buildings in Brooklyn, they knew that the sellers did not want the WT to buy them as they pay no taxes and the city would not benefit financially. SO the WT used JW's to pose as individual buyers to get the properties. Another example of double standards is when they secretly send Bethelites to University to learn a trade they need (Like Lawyers) yet they criticize from the platform and literature JW's trying to do the same. They will even delete elders and MS for allowing their children to go to University. Judah Schroeder son of former GB went to NYU law school yet his father banned normal JW's from doing the same and would call them materialstic in the publications.

For years the WT has banned saluting the flag of your nation yet Brother Knorr, Franz, Henschel & the rest of the GB signed an oath of allegiance to the US government in order to have a passport and travel the world spreading their real estate corporation. I believe you can see the scan of their signatures on jwfacts.

Another double standard and deceitfullnes is how in 1989 they told the Brothers in the USA that the literature will now be offered free of charge and voluntary donations will be mentioned to the householder. The WT letter stated that this was to help more people learn the trush...BS!!! That same year the US government had Jimmy Swaggart (famous televangelist) charging him for back taxes for the litertaure he would sell on TV. The WT even filed a "friend of the court" thus publicly declaring they were siding with Swaggarts position. He lost and suddenly the GB made this loving provision for the literature to be offered without a contribution in order to help "more people learn the truth".

The lies are too much to bear. The disappointment of believeing they are guided and used by God yet their actions clearly show they are just another Corporation that will protect their power & money at all cost even if it means sacrificing truth & doing the right thing.

I don't want to get started on their claim of not having a clergy yet they claim "clergy priviliege" in order to avoid giving the police information on child molesters and thus protecting these molesters from going to prison. As an elder I handled several child abuse cases and were clearly told NOT to share anything with the police even though the molester confessed to us. I would cringe by the fact that I could not warn parents to keep their kids away from Brother Child Molester. As a witness, you must be constantly excusing their inconsistencies and double standards and convince yourself that the problem is with you personally for feeling uncomfortable about matters.

Awake JWs: any ideas on subliminally sharing TTATT?

let me share one possible way:.

say you're out in the ministry with another asleep jw and it's your turn to speak to the householder.

you can steer the conversation in such a way that you can talk about the pharisees' unreasonable interpretation of the sabbath law and how it was contrary to what god intended.

One way to go about it is to add in a conversation how it is dangerous and improper to follow men. Also how much you admire Jeremiah and Jonathan for not going along with Leaders of "Gods Organization" when they clearly saw they were not acting in accors to God's will.

You cannot be specific and apply that to the GB as you can be accused of causing divisions and promoting apostasy.

Goodbye JWD/JWN (my last post)

after some considerable thought i have decided that i will no longer post on this forum because i want to return to jehovah.

thank you for all the kindness and many interesting discussions over the years.

i wish you all well in the future and the decisions you make.

There's no doubt that SBF got caught posting here either by a family member who went to the elders or a spying elder.

In order to avoid being disfellowshipped and losing his family & friends the elders have asked him to show repentence and to make public his regret and change of heart.

Expressions like "I want to return to Jehovah" "I want to return to the truth" "the trust his the best way of life" are what the elders and the WT organization wants to hear in order to allow him to stay a JW and not lose his family.

Whatever the case, it's hard to respect someone that is double minded and flip flops. Wish him well though.

8. William Malenfant (heavy JW current WT v.p.) went to the U.N. general assembly and gave a talk about how they will be used by God to destroy false religion. Only JW's will remain. As a result of this Gorbachev lifts the ban on JW's in Russia. ( heard this when visiting a hall in Rhode Island. I told the elder thats not true and said ihave bad attitude).

2. Jeopardy gem #2: " smartest man on earth" - who is fred franz------ correct!

3. 1 bethelite preaching in N.Y. and entering a barbershop to get a haircut. The barber asks the bethelite what hes doing and jw tells him they're preaching about Jehovah's kingdom. Barber answers and says " yes I know Jehovah, he killed my children in the flood". The bethelite faints. When he wakes up the barbershop is an empty shop but the jw had his hair cut. So a demon gave this bethelite a free haircut then disappeared.

4. A sister was preaching at a house and the householder tells the sister that she knows who the demons are as they speak to her. The lady added that recently they havent spoken to her and she asked them why. They told her they were very busy as armageddon was near and they were busy working on deceiving the JW's.
