After reading topics on how to DA why someone DA I realized that my DA wasn't my choice. Here's my background information well I did a successful fade in my opinion. My mom was DF and moved to another city about 20 mins from where we lived and went to the meetings. I moved in with her and life was great. I worked full time finally and started going to school part time and just like that the whole Jehovah Witness thing was in my rear window. Well at work I was talking to one of my coworkers and she was telling me about the navy and the great experience she had. Well why not?
After awhile I talked to my mom about it while she was driving and we almost crashed. Finally after heated battles and pleas from her I talked to a recruiter. Everything was going good again and the recruiter sat down and talked to mom and she finally calmed down. Well after some time it was time to go to the meps for my physical and to take the asvab test. As soon as my recruiter pulled in to pick me up in his all American Navy girl my best friends who is a pioneer walks out of the apartment she house sitting for. Well my cover was blown which is safe to say.
The phone calls were coming in and the visits. This one sister who I never met even offer me to move in with her. WTF! Well I finally made it to boot camp when I grandmom relied to me that I was DA, but not DF. At the time I didn't care because I had boot to worry about, but now I'm like wasn't it suppose to be my choice for a DA I thought I was suppose to be DF. Is there a really big difference?

by TimothyT ini cant believe how amazing i now feel as opposed to how aweful my life was but 4 months ago.. after some careful consideration, i decided to be gay despite being a jw.. the moment i chose this course, my life became so positive and i noticeably felt happy again.. 3 months ago i met a lovely man who took an interest in me.
one week ago we decided it was time to become boyfriends.. well, i feel incredible.
all i can say is that this course of life based on my being true to myself, despite the fact that it contradicts what i have been brought up to believe, has made life worth living again.. despite being gay, and slowly coming out to those who matter to me, i also have come to realise how flawed this organisation is anyway.. im a keen bible student but i dont see the organisations claim to authority.. to be honest, ill be glad to get out of it and start living my life as happily as i can whilst still trying my best to serve god.. thanks to those who supported me and of course to my boyfriend 'jackal' who joined this forum in order to understand what has made up my entire upbringing!.

Its summer time and I know how imporant it is for my signifcant other to go to theme park, but I'm hurting. Where I live I can easily take public transportation, but if we want to have fun we need wheels. Looking back those bros and sis that use their wheels in the "army" seriously didn't have a life cause the upkeep of a automobile is hard when you want to travel for fun.
I remember meeting the group for field service and always riding around with the same people and we would give them a couple of dollars for gas. Of course they only worked part time and their automobiles unless they were one of the lucky few to have good jobs, were always 5-10 years old after the current date. I know they had to be hurting when it came time car repair time.
