Sandie:
1. Can Jehovah's Witnesses practice faith with the Bible as a guide, or is it crucial to include the teachings of the Watchtower Society?
The Bible itself has not changed in over 2000 years, but the beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses have changed constantly from their beginning - the religion is only about 143 years old and is virtually unrecognizable compared to the early days (known as International Bible Students then. The name Jehovah's Witnesses came in 1931).
It's what the Watchtower Organization says that counts, not the Bible, but they will NEVER acknowledge this.

You will have a great time here with Ex-JW Atheists, Agnostics, Jehovah's Witnesses and several evangelical Christians.
I love the mix. Getting different points of view is something that Jehovah's Witnesses are not allowed to do, per the directives of their organization's leaders (the Governing Body).
