It's hypocritical of them to demand religious freedom while denying it to others.
This has got to be one of the biggest hypocricies in the world of religion - Watchtower denies its own followers the same freedom of religion that it insists on for itself.

Pray for the ones who went through this experience? It's a little late isn't it, since the main ones who went through this 'traumatic experience' are now dead. A lot of good being at a KH meeting did them, where Jehovah's angels did not protect them.
And "Jehovah is our refuge in times of distress?" Really? It doesn't always work, does it?
What empty language.
Is that letter actually real? It's from Watchtower, so I suppose it could be.

Absolutely, I remember that. JWs are taught that 'if you are disfellowshipped you are dead in God's eyes and you are dead to us too,' thus they are not allowed to speak to a df'd person, not even their own family.

Victim advocacy group Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) said the organization itself needed to be held accountable.
"Officials within the faith that knew of this abuse did nothing. To me that’s complicit. And being complicit in crimes like these is sometimes as equal to the crime itself," said SNAP Communications Manager Mike McDonnell.Amen to that. The Watchtower Organization is complicit in these crimes - because of it's child sexual abuse policies, including failure to report CSA to authorities - and definitely needs to be held accountable.

who remembers 1975, the ray franz incident, the generation change in 1995, the blood fractions, alternative service, participation in ochr, aid afrique, the historical research by james pellechia, jolene chu and johannes stephan wrobel?

There was a another, smaller change in there too. At one time the 'age of understanding' was said to be "about 15 years old." That was later changed to being 10 years old, which bought Watchtower a few more years.
In those days Watchtower said you had to be old enough to understand that Bible prophecy about the last days was being fulfilled, at least have a very basic understanding of it, to be of the generation.
Then the age of understanding was dropped completely and it was being born in 1914 that counted. Of course that failed too.
