Slayer; By my experience, after 30 years of constant extremely heavy drinking, physical addiction was very real. The physical withdrawal symptoms were as bad or maybe worse than those described in an earlier post. After nearly 6 years of being sober, I still occasionally have some of the pains, dilusions, and other symptoms of withdrawals occur. In my mind, I never had any problems ,once I realized that "I" wanted to quit and regain control of my life. It was a real physical "CHALLENGE" to get over it. I had also previously quit useing tobacco and drugs. The physical addition to alcohol was by far worse.

As to drugs; legalizing would take a lot of the crime out of use. I feel that certain people can tolerate and resposibly use drugs or alcohol(which is legal), it is not for me. I cannot use responsibly.

Prevalence of JW Suicides - Real or Imagined?

in one or two recent threads i've seen reference to the possibility of a rising number of jw suicides being another of the organization's very dark realities about which it is vigilant in keeping concealed from its pub populace.

is there anyone reasonably informed regarding this?

is there reason to suppose the incidence ratio among jws is any higher than among any peoples/religion?

GR; You must be VERY well off financially for a poor humble Witless, if you pay $800 a month in taxes. The borg must really like to see you come in with your money. How much formal education do you have? You hit the lottery? By your other comments "THEY" really have you, don't THEY. You can get help and get over it.

Demons or Urban Legends (part 2)

the last time i posted this topic there was a lot of good replies that came foward, as well as a lot of storys about possible demon encounters.. one person that responded to the post made a very good observation, she said that now days we seem to have everything imaginable on tape,.

why has no one ever filmed a real demon encounter?.

and if demons are real and can do things to prove that they exsist then why cant angels do the same?.
