Kingdom halls without holy spirit

have any of you guys ever notived how many jw's complain about "other" halls not having jehovah's holy spirit?

when i was a jw i moved a bit and was in several different halls.

i heard of a number of halls not having jehovah's holy spirit and that in time jehovah would clear things up.

I often heard about people around one congergation noting something was

wrong with a certain congergation, it had a lot of problems etc....but nobody new what....And "miraculously"

Jehovah would expose the wrong doing of a few member of the cong. or especially

members of the servant body...and everything would be better...seems like

they were grieving the Holy Spirit..I can vouch for this!

In one congergation, it was always a little off..However Jehovah waited a decade or

so...than accuasations were made against one elder for molesting and he was

sent to prison...but i dont think things have gotten better.

or elder is that when the circuit overseer comes around to visit, no mention is ever made of the person.

hey all tr and i have almost something in common!

I was removed as an MS becuase of low FS hours. C.O was very cool to me..The elder body dont give me

the time of day now. I cant even count how many times memeber of the elder body just walk on

by me in the hall without a simple Hello or How you doing.......I just sit back and laugh as the other MS

are giving Hightlights and Instruction talks every other week.....Hmm when will my next school part

be..umm..let me see....2 months??..NICE!!

what kind of mind-control ?

i need help in finding out just what kind of mind control the jw's use on their members.

i have never been a jw, and need some specifics on this to help my sister, who is a jw.. just what kind of fear tactics did they instill upon you, and other ways of mind controlling?.

i know all the doctrines from research i have done, but not really sure on the specific things they said to keep you in, not listen to outsiders, and fear from leaving the orginization.. you all are so helpful in these posts, and i know you all will give me some great info.. thanks so much, grace4u

JWs dont use mind control. But Guilt is used, as outlined in the Bible...crazy

for those of you who have an interest in jw history, and have studied it, what do you see as the similiarities and differences between russell and rutherford.

now, i am not looking for superficial answers like, they were both full of shit.

i am looking for some content here.

actually, if you study the writing of Russell, you will see that indeed his start was genuine,

he didnt feel the need for an org. etc..However, in the end it seems he let his ego start to win

over him. Feeling that all must follow his bad chronolgy etc. Rutherford was crazy from the start.

We just preach and publish material to the best of our understanding

With all due respect, "our understanding" is the understanding of JW's located in

Brooklyn. The vast majority of JW's decide not to undertake the responsiblity of trying

to understand certain Bible points, but instead have left this up to Brooklyn. And preach

and distribute material based on this.

I would imagaine that if the WTS believs it literature contains truth,

than the literature they distribute should also contain the latest truth

or understanding. I dont see why there is a problem with them

changing literature that was once printed, and later found out to

contain "bad truth" and than re writing it so it contains "new truth"
