  You can clearly see that the flag is on the outside of the window, so who ever done this had no internal access.

  S2, Can you proof that this info is false?? If you can read Spanish you can realize that the post mention the location of the KH and congregations meeting there. (calle Santa Amanda donde se reúnen las Congregaciones Maipu y Los Altos de la Comuna de Maipu en Santiago de Chile).

  What I can say is that a forum participant from Chile ensures that it is true and even gives details of the location of the Kingdom Hall. And it is a fact that is required the use of flag in Chile in those days.

  the best conjecture seems to be that the gb are going to drop the literal 144,000 teaching, especially in view of the december watchtower that pointedly does not mention the 144,000 number.

  if they are dropping the literal 144,000 number, but still claim that only a small number are anointed, and can partake, and that only a few are left on earth, then it is fair to ask what has really changed?

  they are simply clearing up the embarrassing situation that there were obviously more than 144,000 "anointed" believers from 36 ad until now, and that the number of partakers has been increasing in recent years.

  IMHO the change could be that since the book of Revelation describes events of future times, the 144,000 could refer to the number of anointed from 1914 onwards only, and not to all the anointed from 33 AD.

  as most of us know, the society is spending 10's of millions of dollars on a giant, state of the art, secluded bunker country club headquarters in very remote, isolated warwick ny.. the question that "some" have is, why?

  if armageddon is coming "very soon", why go to all that time & effort & expense?

  why have thousands of jws dedicating their time to this massive effort instead of the "lifesaving ministry"?.
