QWB, I know that fear feeling. I know how you feel. I have experienced that feeling of fear for many years, but I prayed a lot about it and listened to the words of Jesus in John 6:48-58, rather than accept the interpretation of a group of men in Brooklyn. May God help you. Blessings.

Chalam, I read your thread from last year and it is very interesting. Thans to you and all the others that have comented on this thread. I grew up as a JW and is not easy to make up our thoughts even when we know that we must. I'll partake with my wife without doubts.

Hi, L58. Thanks for your post, but I don't think Christ has returned yet. He will return soon. I could be wrong, though.

AG, thanks for take the time to post on this thread. I never has partaked before, but I believe that a true christian should partake as a symbol that one is part of the "body of Christ", even a small part of "His body". Of course, we do have to act as a true Chritian should do.

I'm sorry, I should say the commemoration of Christ's death. My English isn't very good. Thank you both for your opinion. I'll appreciate more participation on this thread.

The Spanish version is a little more humble. It's state:
This now is an English translation from the Spanish one:
God made this covenant with a group of 144,000 people. He puts great blessings available to many through this small
group. Millions of men and women around the world will enjoy eternal life in a paradise earth thanks to this new covenant. Some of the 144,000 are serving Jehovah on Earth today. Only they can eat the bread and drinking wine because they are part of the group who Jehovah made the covenant . The blood of Jesus validated the pact. This is the original English version:
Through the new covenant, Jehovah makes blessings
available to many by means of a few. Those in
the covenant are few, a mere 144,000. Through
them, millions from all nations will be blessed with
everlasting life in an earthly paradise. Somewho are
in the new covenant serve Jehovah on earth today.
They alone properly partake of the bread and the
wine because the cup "means the new covenant." -

Serving where the need in greater - and leaving the "truth"
by dozy ina few years ago , a very zealous 30 ish pioneer couple sold up & moved to central america to serve where the need is greater.
they were the classic incredibly "enthusiastic for jehovah" types who had deliberately not had any family & led a very "simple" life to focus on kingdom interests.
they were very very close & always worked together in the ministry.
