  i thought this article and video was good about a man that left the lds/mormons, and then his wife reacted exactly the way that many asleep jw mates act, going through the same kind of disbelief, shock, feelings of betrayal, etc.. .

  hi guys,.

  thank you for the warm welcome to the forum boards after years of just looking and reading.. i have been impressed by the many comments that have followed the introduction of dontplaceliterature and the balanced, humourus and individual views of the brothers and sisters (we are all human beings so as far as i am concerned no matter what religious persuasion we are all one family!

  ) that have replied with both candid and honest and often heartfelt comments.. i have started a topic and will give the reason for asking first, so anyone can skip the "getting to know me" bit.. i am currently wondering as a baptised member of the org, who hasnt attended either meetings or memorial in the last 4 years.

  I think Santorum is the most unelectable of the bunch. Id pink Newt over him. But I do see Obama as getting 4 more years.

  Ahhh Santorum....that sweater vest has such an allure. I am not sure what I like better, his comparing gays to bestiality, or his stance on being against birth control. I do know that his inability to get reelected as a Senator in a swing state (PA) will make him a shoe in to beat Obama.

  i know many of you have felt this way but it still hurts.. i was doing fine, great actually but then all of the sudden a huge wave of pain hit my body out of the blue.

  man its so hard living this life, always pretending, except when you're alone.

  i feel like its eating me from the inside.. so many times i want to just give up, on both sides.

  Why dont you look for a meet up group, or just search for your local town in the search feature. I found some ex-jws on this site by doing that....meeting in person is very helpful.

  I am voting with a strict "No Cult Members" policy in mind. Id vote for Paul over Obama, and Obama over the rest of the repubs.
