Yes no pot smoker wants to date someone who is uptight about a drug that is milder than booze. If you dont like pot move on. (I am not a smoker but I would legalize it in a second)

Things you did to pass the time at meetings/service/assemblies/conventions/memorials
by OneDayillBeFree ini'm currently at the meeting again... i'm always in the back working the sound cause everyone else can't seem to work it and i'm mostly on my phone reading jwn or writing, or doodling or sometimes i just stare at the audience to see who's falling asleep or daydreaming.
its really the only way i can still sit through these things.. but i remember getting the number of a girl i used to like at one district convention and we would text each other during the program and talk about how boring it was.. i also remember sneaking out of a circuit assembly and going to see a car show that was going on right next door.
that was fun!.

Not fearing Armageddon
by tec insome time ago i was granted some understanding about 'armageddon', and so i am sharing it with you.
i should have shared it when i first received it from our lord.. there is nothing to fear if you are not riding out to make war against someone.
satan deceives the nations and gets them to march against those who belong to christ and god.

Moroccan girl commits suicide after being forced to marry her rapist
by Diest inafter reading this article it just reminded me that koran and bible are completely backward.
the justification for this forced marriage is found in deuteronomy 22:23-24: ' .
if a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father.

What a shame - but fortunate for the org
by Mickey mouse inas referred to in this thread, ray franz's book crisis of conscience, arguably the most important book for ex jws to read - has been out of print for months but is available from amazon at $100+.. internet explorer, probably the most commonly used internet browser - is not compatible with this website.. most young jws probably access the internet via a smartphone but good luck trying to post to this website on one.. .

I don't think anyone wants to take money from Cynthia, but it is not that hard to have books put into Kindle(mobi) and Nook (Epub) formats. If you dont want someone to download it illegally make it easy. In the past her fulfillment was done by Amazon. This means she did not have to do any of the shipping, so it seems to me that very little effort is being made to make sure these books are on the market.

Can we get her to set up some sort of trust that could take the rights and ensure that this is run properly? This is really quite simple.

At the very least someone who is well known in the Apostate community should apraoch Cynthia about getting this book printed again, and getting it professionally formated for Kindle and Nook. I cant immagine it would take more than 15-20 hrs of work. I am sure that many people would even donate to help speed along the process.
Could someone like Barbara Anderson or Dog Patch reach out to her?

Based on the bible many people think 3 million people left Egypt (600k men plus women and children) Which is facinating when you think that the first city with 1 million people was Rome, and it was 1200 years after the exodus. How did such a large group of people feed themselves after the exodus? How did they even get 3 million to begin with?
The more I look at Exodus the more I realize that it is a dubious story at best.

BOL download the software from calibre-ebooks.com and convert it from PDF to MOBI. Mobi is the kindle format....if you arnet tech savy I can do it for you if you email me the PDF file. You can also use calibre to convert it to EPUB, which works for Nook readers. The conversions are not alway perfect, but they are better than PDF.
Calibre is a great piece of software for managing your e-reader. You can also get books from torrents, if you are into pirating.
