You can almost never apply if you have overstayed your visa. You have to leave the country for a few years then come back. I would like to see a shift in immigration law to make it harder to get across the border, but at the same time helping the kids who have been here for 10-20 yers get their citizenship.

Illegal immigrant applies to be admitted to the Florida Bar!
by moshe inlaw school admits an admitted illegal and when he graduates the fl bar thinks he should just go away quietly?
it's absurd to let illegal immigrant children enroll in first grade and then years later after they graduate from high school or college expect them to return to their foreign place of birth as adults.. "the florida board of bar examiners, which grants membership to the bar, has asked the state supreme court to determine whether it can accept someone who is not in the country legally.
the supreme court flagged the case as "high profile" last week.. "no one who has shown this guy's level of contempt for american law should be practicing law," said william gheen, president of americans for legal immigration, a political action committee that opposes amnesty for undocumented immigrants.. tom fitton, president of the conservative watchdog group judicial watch, agreed.. "he can't practice as a lawyer," fitton said.

Jehovah's Witnesses and the Rh Factor
by Dogpatch injehovah's witnesses and the rh factor.
written by marlene mercado wednesday, 31 january 1996; revised 2012. .
i want to share with our readers an experience i had when two jehovah's witness elders came to my home to enlighten me regarding the new "technology" that allows for the taking of certain blood fractions with a clean conscience.

I am not certain yet, but I am trying to find out if one of my relatives was not given an exchange transfusion. She was born RH +. If that is the case, her JW parents comdemed her to a life where she is heavily mentally handicaped. Ill let you know if I can find a clear answer.

I would like to thank all of you...
by sooner7nc in...for helping me see the light.. in 2008 i voted for the first time ever.
i voted for obama for president because i truly believed he and biden were a better choice to lead america than anybody running with sarah palin.
she scared me and still does even though i respect and admire john mccain.. being in texas and enjoying our relatively strong local economy i voted for rick perry to remain as governor and voted a mix of republican, democrat, and one libertarian for the other state and local positions that were up for election.

I dont see why not. I think one of the best charitable groups you could start would be a home for JW teens and young adults. Something to transition them into the real world with good social skills.

It is not embelished...you cant make up whatever you want in a myth. With no historical data to back it up and fanciful stories, I don't get how this is any different from a story about Prometheus or Hercules.

Sab tell me how 3 million jews (600k men and their families that left Egypt) lived in a crappy strip of land with no modern farming technology. It took 1k years for Rome (the city) to have 1 million people and to support that they had a very large empire.

PASSION of the Christ
by myownsaviorthankyoumuch inwondering if anyone has seen it yet, and what the general consensus was around here.
i saw it a week ago this coming monday, overall i liked it, and didnt really see what the controvesy was, thought that the aramaic w/ english subtitles was a nice touch, cinematography was great, watching mary's griefmoved me a whole lot more than watching jesus get tortured, satan rocked visually, i especially enjoyed the fact that he was portrayed by a female, [that was not a comment to instigate the femenists on the board] though he had one too many hollywood moments, i really like the fact that jesus actually came across as arrogant, not the weakling he is always portrayed as during the easter season, he actually had some nads, and had something to say, that was cool, made him a lot more real in my eyes, after walking out of the theater though, i could only keep thinking to myself this was such a tragedy in the likes of homer, a hero bound for disaster, a legend told through the centuries, much like king arthur became a legend based on the events of a real man, im thinking the same must have happened with him, 80 flogs with bamboo into it i was thinking endorphines and adrenaline, yet it kept going into a second round, how he was able to walk after that and carry a cross, seemed a bit ludicrous, comments??

I always felt bad for the King of the Gauls. We have written evidence from the Romans that he was crucified for his people. Unfrotuantely we have no such evidence about Jesus.
