I know in Bolivia they go vote, because they are required to do so. Most witnesses just do a silly write in or vote for all of the candidates.

Well I actually like Britans Got Talent better. As a Cowboy Yank who rides horses and brands cows (well not really, but I didnt want to ruin Cedars stereotype of a Colorado Yank) I enjoy a fair bit of Brittish TV.
PS I believe the Bush-Blair relationship showed which country was a colony of the other.

my DF-ing letter - opinions
by raxxxx into the body of elders in xxxxx.. .
i no longer wish to recognised as one of the jehovah's witnesses due to the fact that i no longer believe that this 'organisation' is truly representing him because :.
i have experienced greater and unconditional love/friendship with the people i am supposed to hate 'worldly people' than i did in this congregation.

How many sects of the Watchtower are recent? Who are they?
by Dogpatch ini want to write a short article on the new wt sects (not considered harmful cults) of the watchtower that have been developing in the watchtower world, if for nothing more than to scare the watchtower into the full-blown realization that their greatest fears have now begun to develop into early fruition.. many witnesses have had enough, and are demonstrating it by "shaking the dust off their feet" and forming their own associations, registered or not, with the noble motives of helping lost witnesses and ex-witnesses.
this information will not be used to discredit them, rather to advertise them.
(in the article i will leave the word "sects" out because many consider it an evil term... but hey, the watchtower is a sect of judaism/christianity itself and also a high-control cult.

In 1993, mathematician Gordon Ritchie requested baptism by Jehovah's Witnesses and almost immediately began advocating disagreements with their teachings. He claims he was expelled for apostasy in March 1996. [7] [8] Ritchie contends that Jehovah's Witnesses constituted true religion until 2004, but that his own group of "Lord's Witnesses" is now the sole form of true worship. [9] The group claims several hundred adherents, and argues that their mathematical analysis of the Bible contains divine revelations that Jehovah's Witnesses have ignored .
Obves, here is your answer to "Where would we go"....or is this your group?
Lars, you too.

I dont think my post was very clear. It is ok to let people know it marks them as an apostate. I just dont like discouaging people from writing out their thoughts. You never know who might actually read it.

WHy is it that everytime someone publishes their letter on here, the others have to tell them that no one will listen to it...SO WHAT! It is theraputic, and cathartic to write this type of letter. While many elders might not read on, I would not be suprised if some did. What if an elder leaves this letter out and his child gets to read it.
There is no downside to including you reasons for leaving, so why stop the upside, however limited it may be.

Are you talking about the Hebrew texts that were partially written by polythiests and then changed in 600 BC to a more monothiestic text? Ahh yes that one...The Jews were sort of monothiests and I dont see support for a triune God.
In the NT it seems to support a multi-facited God....so I guess we will never know.
