  preventing baptism of minors

  here is the situation: my wife is a very faithful true believer (and a wonderful person, i will add, who really wants to do what's right) i have been da'd about a year, and we have 2 children.

  our oldest is 13, and really buys into the witness line ( as, of course, i professed to until last summer) and i am fairly sure she is considering baptism.

  here is my question: as one half of her parents, is there any legal doctrine that would allow me to prevent her baptism until she is 18?

  a new person with a familiar story.....

  so...i have been involved with jws for 21 years, have a wonderful husband and 4 wonderful daughters( i am so lucky!!!

  ) and for a year or so have been steadily leaving the org.it didnt amswer my questions or satisfy my needs at first- but then i started to do my own searching and found out alot of things that were just wrong.

  my oldest daughter decided to da herself and i knew that i would never turn my back on her.

  help me with my jw stepchildren

  i am female, 40, and have been in a relationship for 18 months with a wonderful man who has two children from his first marriage.

  they are girl age 12 and boy age 9. we live in australia.

  in the last 10 months, the children's mother (with whom they live 9 days a fortnight), has been brainwashing them against us.

  Holiday plans for the summer?

  hi, anyone have any holiday plans for the summer?.

  we hope to go to canada to visit relatives and maybe go down to san-diego to take the kids round the zoo & sea-world.

  went there a couple of years ago on business and it was incredible!.
