Common JW phrases that aren't in the Bible

i'm interested to know common phrases jehovah's witnesses use, but don't actually apear in the bible (even the nwt).

especially phrases most jw's would assume are in the bible.

e.g.. "paradise earth".

so let's say armageddon comes,do you believe that all jw's would be destroyed because jehovah knows it's a false religion...it can't be denied,for the most part,they try to live by the bible...if anybody has to be punished i would say it's the leaders...i know that god wouldn't judge a whole organization but persons individually....so what i'm trying to ask is....do you think you're in a better position right now not for freedom but for salvation than the witnesses??

if by the time you're finished reading this post armageddon is here...would u wish that you still were a witness or are you satisfied that you've made god proud?.

In Christianity "salvation" is ONLY through Jesus Christ NOT the Watchtower CORPORATION or any other denomination... "salvation" is through your personal relationship with Jesus, your belief in Him, your acceptance of Him as the Messiah, The Christ, your acceptance of the gift His sacrifice made for us: righteousness, justification in front of the Heavenly Father.

Read the bible by yourself. Learn from scratch who Jesus is. Ask the Father to show you the Son, to bring you to Him.

In Christianity "Armageddon" is a localized event ... God will use Israel again to make Himself known to everybody ... it will be up to us humans to choose whether we BELIEVE or not. As Christians we don't worry about "tribulation" "judgment" "armageddon", etc etc et, we have FAITH and BELIEVE in the sacrifice of Jesus, we have accepted His gift, righteoussness, justification in front of my Heavenly Father.

YES, I am in a better position now ... I know salvation comes from GOD through Jesus (not me being member of the Watchtower CORPORATION). I know that God sees my newborn Spirit, Christ in me, Christ is my PASSOVER ....

I hope your time will also come when you will worship the FATHER in Spirit ... and don't believe so called "christians" cults - they indoctrinate people with fear to hide them from the Father ... fear is what keeps people away / hiding from the Father since the beginning ... fear is satan's tool to keep deceiving people ...

last night on "60 minutes",..... they featured the catholic archbishop of dublin.

he exposed his own church, his own "organization".

he exposed documents and testimony about how his church covered up child molesting priests throughout ireland.. he went to a school, to remind himself of what an 8 year old boy looked like - because he was aware of one nasty case involving a boy of that age.. when he was talking, he paused..... because he held back tears.. if you are still a "loyal" witness, i have two things to tell you.

I have seen the Galveston Diocese Newsletter here in Houston and the issue I read had special 1-800 phone numbers for victims of sexual abuse to call in, the number was also for priests wanting help - the ad encourage catholics to call in, denounce, child abuse ... it offered help for both victims and victimizers ... YOU WILL NEVER SEE SOMETHING LIKE THIS IN A WATCHTOWER PUBLICATION ... unfortunately child sexual abuse is everywhere even in the privacy of family homes, but to intentionally cover it up, it has no name .

im assuming we all realise the gb may be many things but the individuals are not fools.

given the changes in ideas, formulation of new light and so on, do they buy the fascade they are presenting ?

if theres anyone in there, surely they as men, know how very man made it has always been.

Does prayer have any effect?

I don't know what has happened to me, and yes like someone before, I used to pray a lot as a JW but no answers because I think I was asking God to do things for me, which really it would have been so unjust given so many millions of people in worst circumstances than me, also I didn't really know God for what He says He is not what any religion/men/personal opinions say He is. Now through my ever increasing knowledge of Jesus I know that I pray to God as an act of worship but at the same time I know that in Christ and through Chirst I am fully equipped to do anything, in Christ I am healed, in Christ I have the power to conquer, to defeat, I have the riches of Christ, within me is already the answer, the blessing ...

For example, I can pray Isaiah 54:17 and claim my inheritance/heritage ... "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD"

I believe now that this is mine .. it is my inheritance ... it says that a weapon (situation, trouble) WILL FORM but it will NOT prosper ... so if I get sick, if I have to deal with a situacion, I know that I will take care of it, do my part, but in the end I have an inheritance from my Father and nothing will prosper against me (it will not defeat me).

Praying Isaiah 54:17 with my daughter (who doctors thought she had some tourette's syndrome) has done wonders in us ... from a devastating medical report of tourette, we now laugh happily with God, because Neurologist couldn't find nothing wrong with her, Specialist couldn't believe the video diary that they asked me to keep where you can see my daughter's tics that were so bad and intrusive. When I became a Christian I started watching Christian TV and I've heard story after story of praying for healing ... I started doing the same with my daughter and claiming God's promises and blessings for us and sure enough praying for us works better than Xanax and other anxiety pills they wanted to give my daughter. I remember when we left the last Neurologist we saw, my daughter, my son and I were all laughs, I said, the doctor doesn't know what happened but we know GOD DID IT and we high five'd each other ...

Have faith, Believe, Love ...

For HE is faithful and His love endures forever ... His blessing is out there for the taking ... just BELIEVE !!!!
