He could get a job as a lawyer (elder) to their laws.
As a believer or Messiah, he couldn't take that career.

What if a religion today condemn work related training,
in favor of denominational indoctrination? _______________.

have limited job choices, and be too poor to get educated later.
WT theology is the refuse, yet "the way" to GOD is biblical truth;
being clean, smart, and spiritual will get us close to Him.
The disciples weren't unlettered as to work training,
but unlettered in an education of the Pharisaical schools.
They had job skills to support their families and fellow believers.
WT just wants poor followers that can't think for themselves,
to be too broke - to be distracted from meetings, and
depressed enough to donated their last dollar to WTBT$ publishing!

she heard them blast higher education...then warn to not miss meetings for work...then they gave the stupidest illustration i ever heard- they said that it is true that supporting your family is important...but not to give it too much importance and said it is like trying to cross a busy street.
they said if you see a car a long distance off it is ok to cross, if you are too careful you will never cross the street.
Once again the GB has taken the fence. It's yes and no at the same time!
This is just the type of political double talk; and spoken in the same paragraph,
that draws in all factions into their grand illusion.
As always it give the local leaders the option to apply it any way they wish.
Since it's a high control cult, the elders will let their (and have)
friends and family help whom ever they chose.
Yet when those not in their local click try to assist someone in genuine need;
the pioneers, elders wifes, murmurers, children of the "elect", and so on, will
(and have) reported to the elders as a means of being used as a beating stick!
WT has no love of neighbor, Christ, or GOD. The only love it has is romantic love.
Love and marriage to the perfect pioneer bloodline, that's a work horse for WT!

Right Qcmbr; some counselors are taught that there are four basic categories that people fall under: 1) lovers, 2) pleasers, 3) withholders, and 4) controllers. So; 2, 3 and 4 would do wrong easily. Yet; even #1 type make mistakes in time.
